A very pretty campsite very quiet when we were there lots of mature trees on the grounds

The only dislike was toilets were a long way away from where we had a van parked

Grounds were lovely, shop had everything you needed, motorhome service point was great. Decent size pitches. Safe for children.

Showers & toilets were filthy due to amount of people using, suggesting they need cleaning more often. Ladies showers hardly worked and was dripping out boiling water.
How loud campsite was after 11pm

Beautiful setting, staff very friendly and helpful. The facilities on site. Pitches are spacious and level. Hookup, although extra, was very reasonably priced. Good walks for the dogs

Brilliant facilities and the grounds were stunning. Really quiet when we went and had a good pitch within easy access to all the facilities. The stone baked pizza was incredible and definitely recommend. The showers were clean and modern. Bonus for kids was the little play park that kept my toddler busy for a while.

The major downside was the incinerator that was turned on the morning after our stay and the wind was unfortunately blowing all the smoke our way. It was pretty unpleasant and meant we had to pack up quickly and still we ended up smelling of smoke. Also quite early in the morning someone was leaf blowing which seemed a bit unnecessary, we were already up but if you wanted to sleep in that would have woken you up.

We always love coming to hoddom castle caravan park . It has a lovely relaxed feel . We went to the bar where the staff were very friendly ordered food which was delicious and good value . We found the staff in reception to be very friendly and extremely helpful
