The location was wonderful and quiet, the facilities are very clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was lovely and at a affordable price.

Beautiful quiet place. Large sites and lots of clean amenities. Good tracks for walks and pretty challenging golf course. Great price.

The grounds

This was my 1st experience of camping/glamping. Kelo Pod was 1st class with heating in it which made a huge difference. Cooking hut was great with 3 stoves, kettle, microwave and toaster.
Toilet block was large a little dated but very clean. Shower block had been made over with heating so not cold when coming out the shower.
Restaurant and bar was very friendly and the wood fired pizza was to die for. Overall i had a great 1st experience to glamping and would defo recommend Hoddem Castle.

The bed was the only down fall, mattress could have been doing with replacing, we both sank into the middle.

Clean site, good facilities, live music

Toilets in morning were not good, how people leave them like that beggers belief, I'm sure they wouldn't do it in own home

The showers were warm and toasty .. - even if a bit of a trek from our pitch .
It’s was nice having a bar a restaurant on site , makes the evening meal a lot easier .
Loved being in the castle grounds , plenty to explore , we were only passing through so didn’t explore

The lovely walks not needing to m e motorhome staff lovely and dog friendly site beautifully kept stay longer than first booked will definitely be back pitches a generous size

Lovely large pitches with plenty of space between each one. Superb facilities and the pub on site was a real bonus. Some amazing walks to enjoy as well.

There are only 2 washing machines and one was out of order plus only 1 dryer. It’s £4 a wash in pound coins and dryer takes 20p pieces but it only takes 30 minutes to dry. Would have been helpful to know how long each wash/dry took.

Well spaced pitches, plenty of toilet facilities, nice showers and good area to walk dog
