A lovely well looked after site with big pitches and very friendly staff ,that uses the castle for thier facilities,the toilets and showers were very clean,beautiful walks in acres of grounds and the food in the restaurant was lovely there was also an outdoor pizza area where they make a good selection,there is a lot of history there regarding the castle and they are doing ongoing restoration work there for preservation which is great,will definitely go back.

Lovely clean site, spacious pitches and plenty of amenities.

We wanted a site not too far from home, but far enough to feel like a getaway. We will be retuning.

Cleanliness of the site eg grounds are well maintained grass cut, toilets and laundry were immaculate. The size of the pitch is perfect for even a large tent, there hust the right amount of tent pitches it's not over crowded. The entertainment and bar were brill and served a good choice at affordable prices to 8pm. The court yard when entertainment on was a nice family atmosphere. If you want a quite time away you couldn't hear anything were we pitched up. Beautiful walks around the area.

The fact that only a few tent pitches had optional electric would of been easier for us with electric. Very limited areas for phone signal I'm on EE an WiFi was poor

Very peaceful, clean and tidy, staff are polite and helpful, would definitely stay again when in the area, top marks

Clean tidy park, plenty of space between pitches. This was our pups first trip away and he loved it as well

Beautiful and quiet setting (we stayed mid week) with lots of very clean amenities. Nice walks from the site too.

A lovely campsite! Set on beautiful grounds.
Everything you need on site, lovely walks that are well sign posted. The restaurant on site serves the best home made pizzas 🍕. Showers/bathrooms kept lovely and clean. Able to do Laundry and iron on site also.

Maybe the shop being open a little longer.
