Liked: The site was clean, staff great, lovely food available from the stall (the burgers are fabulous! Sausage breakfast baps lovely too), fridges, kettle and great views. Hot electric showers and hot water from the taps. Booked last minute for a Dad and 2 boys (10 and 7). Used the fire pit (logs can be bought) and picnic bench next to the tent pitch, site easy to find down some country lanes. Used Monmouth (12 minutes away by car) for shopping and went to Symonds Yat and hired bikes to visit Yat rock and trekked around Wentwood forest on day 2. We really liked camping here, you can pitch where you like, so it just depends where in the field is available. It’s kind of a bowl shaped field, with a flat level across the top and side by the fence, then a second inner flat ring around the well fenced pond. Ducks came to visit the tent a few times too! We will be returning!

Disliked: It's pretty hilly, but with flattened areas for pitching tents. Finding a flat area for a big tent could be difficult when it's busy.

Liked: Loved the area and beautiful lake in the middle of the campsite. The ducks and farm cat made this a very unique and almost homely experience :) Ran by lovely people who helped me and my friends get our car out of the mud, would 100% recommend

Very good facilities, toilets, showers and washing up brilliant.
Added bonus of communal electric kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge and freezer which are kept clean and fit for purpose.
