The campsite is small, very peaceful and in a pretty spot, close to good places to visit. Our children liked the little playground down the far end of the site. It made life much easier having access to ample hot water, a kettle, fridge/freezer and microwave! I’d definitely stay again.

Very clean and tidy. The campsite is lovely as are the family that run it. We stayed for two nights (tent). The owners would come around day and evening on a wood run, so you'll never run out. The site has several toilets, showers (two I think) and lot's of utilities to use - Washup areas, fridge freezers, microwave, toaster and a kettle.
For the price, this is an excellent site. The field is sloping towards the centre ponds but pitches have been made flat so no really a problem.
Would highly recommend to anyone.

Peaceful and small campsite, lovely surroundings, nice shower, toilet and kitchen facilities, near enough to monmouth for food / drink as required. Beautiful part of the UK.

Not sure I disliked anything although I didn't find it easy when following the postcode suggested for camping on the pitch up booking email (rather than the main one for the farm, which I think is probably the right one - this might be just me though!)

Had a wonderful time at Hendre Campsite. The site was very beautiful nestled away in the countryside accessed by a small country road so no traffic heard at night. The pitches all come with a picnic table and firepit. Toilets and showers were kept clean. I would absolutely come back again and definitely recommend it!
