Liked: 3rd time here. Beautiful setting as always. Lovely and quiet and an excellent place to relax. Weather was beautiful too.
Disliked: Checking in process has changed, so a bit of confusion with a few of the guests as to where to go, etc.

Beautiful surroundings. Definitely recommend.Disliked: Not really a dislike, but thought I'd mention it. Very limited phone signal and data signal. This could actually be a bonus depending on your needs.

Liked: It was our first time doing this and had driven from London in our rented campervan with our 2 year old for the weekend. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and the facilities were great - we had everything we needed.
Disliked: We left the site on one day to attend a wedding nearby and were disappointed we couldn't stay later as we had to return to the campsite by 8pm. Unsure if we misunderstood this or if this is the rule for all touring vehicles, despite having already checked in.

Liked: Absolutely fantastic campsite. Beautiful location, friendly staff, wonderful facilities. The showers were clean and decent showers which makes a change from most campsites. Would definitely stay there again.

Liked: We stayed here for a long weekend in August. The site had a mix of flat and slightly sloped pitches. The toilets were clean and well maintained. It was a nice touch to have use of a toaster, kettle, microwave and fridge freezer. The site was quiet by 10pm. The cars are parked seperately to the camping area, you just take the car to set up and pack up. The views are stunning. We'd definitely go back.

Definitely some misunderstanding/miscommunication there and I feel terrible I'm so sorry! I did say over the phone reception closes at 8pm but I followed with saying that we don't close the gates so you're free to come and go as you please- we just won't be there if you need anything.' I'm so sorry if I didn't make it clear enough and you cut your night short for that reason. I feel awful!
