I really liked the relaxed atmosphere, there is lots of facilities.

The surroundings - beautiful rolling landscape with a large pond. Views to fields in the distance and wonderful night skies.
On site staff were very friendly and helpful.
Shower was fantastic in terms of water pressure, temperature (no repeated pressing of the button) and room to change in.
There was also a great facility for washing up, with fridges, freezers and a microwave.
If you get a pitch by the toilets, the water hose reaches you, so no moving the Aquaroll to keep filling up.

Description in light of location: although it's advertised as a caravan site, it's really a Campsite, due the 1m singletrack lane approach. Not so bad it you have to reverse a car and roof box, completely different if your towing. Also, EHU posts are at the front of the pitches, meaning that you have to manoeuvre your caravan around them to pitch. Different if you're just offloading the contents of a car/roof box.
Amenities set-up: Toilets are two cubicles next to each other in a unisex room. Sometimes couldn't even access it because people locked the outside door for privacy (can't say I blame them, but it's not in the spirit of it). The main shower room didn't have a basin to shave in and didn't I think it really appropriate to be half baked in the toilet room (where the basin was) with the possibility of women and young girls coming in to use the loo, while I'm shaving. The 'disabled' toilet room, ironically, had everything - shower, basin, toilet - and stand-up urinal! None of these rooms had a mop and bucket to wipe down, so the floors were often muddy, despite the on-site guy cleaning them several times a day.

Great, quiet location. Family friendly. Shower and toilet facilities very clean. Shared kettle, microwave and fridge available.

Good pitches but quite crowded, was bank holiday weekend though so expected. Very off the beaten track and no easy walking destinations nearby.

No car parking on the field was ignored by some guests and not enforced.

Beautiful setting. Every amenity you would want, even a hairdryer, kettle, fridge, microwave for communal use. Clean showers and toilets. Excellent

Site was clean and really beautiful - the manager Kirsty was lovely and really understanding when I explained I was travelling with a child with Sen and discussed his possibly issues, which were nothing to do with the site but with his needs. Showers were clean and really hot! I cannot praise the site enough
