Shop/reception opening times are very limited
One bloke was very strict with 18 inch BBQ (grass was very wet after a heavy hours downpour)

Liked: Beautiful location, email updates with local events throughout our stay which was a lovely touch. Great communication, big pitches. Well stocked shop onsite, there was a burger van 1 night during our stay too.

Liked: Beautiful campsite with excellent pitches that are very spacious. Campsite is very clean and well maintained and there is an excellent little shop on site. The site has great dog walking straight from the site. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The site is also situated away from any major road so it has no traffic noise.
Disliked: There is no noise control and we had two days off loud music and screaming kids from a massive group gathering. There are no private sinks in the toilets for brushing teeth.

I am sorry to hear that your stay was adversely affected by the noise from the family group gathering - they are returning guests and are usually very respectful of our noise policy (music off at 10pm and quiet time between 10pm and 8am). Please do call us on the mobile number given if you are affected by other people's behaviour when on site - we are happy to step in and resolve any issues.

Liked: We stayed at Greenacres Campsite this weekend with my partner and our 3-year-old and had an amazing time. The site is lovely, really well kept, and has a welcoming, relaxed feel. It’s a great spot for families, safe, spacious and with everything you need close by. Our little one loved the open space to play, and we really enjoyed the peaceful setting. A brilliant place to get away and we’ll definitely be coming back!

You’re quite right about the play area, it is a bit limited at the moment, but don’t worry, we’ve got new kit lined up to go in over the winter, so the little ones will have a lot more to enjoy next season. Thanks also for the feedback on the shop/reception hours – we’ll have a think about how to make those more helpful.
Sorry about the strict bloke… that would be my husband Andy - he really is quite nice but he does get very protective of the grass - we’ve had a fair few BBQ and firepit burns this year. We have been working on softening his approach. We promise to polish up his people skills before you come back or we will keep him out the back!! 😉
