Lovely chilled campsite with excellent quality, clean facilities. Pitches weren’t rammed in.

Lovely and quiet, was perfect!
Brilliant, clean, modern shower and toilet facilities. Washing machine and tumble dryer facilities - £4 per wash which was very good value and washing machine was lovely and clean. Outside washing up area - water was very very hot which sanitised all of your pots, pans, cutlery, bottles etc.
Lovely little shop serving hot breakfast baps and croissants. Very helpful, friendly staff. Very central to Forest of Dean and various tourist points. Little town just down the road with large co-op and Lidl. Plenty of places to eat or take-away. Would certainly recommend and would definitely stay again

Fantastic place to stay, toilets/showers were clean, shop on site, large area for children to play. Other campers very friendly, drinking water available, even though they were shut when we got there they had a printed sheet on the door with our name and pitch number.

We liked the beauty and handy location of the site with loads of space and excellent facilities for a proper camping experience. It's an easy fifteen-minute walk into Coleford but there are lots of other lovely walks starting from Greenacres. The hostess was very helpful and if you fancy a break from cooking they do tasty breakfast food. It is an ideal centre for exploring The Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley. On top of all that it is very reasonably priced. We are an older couple but it was nice to see families with children ranging from babies to teenagers. The playing area is set in a big field with lots of room for children to run around. We hooked up our small camper van alongside tents which were also hooked up but if you are off-grid in your camper van that's fine.

Lovely site , hot disabled shower, peaceful, great little cafe , field close by for dog exercise. Made very welcome by owners.
