First time camping as a family with our children 2 & 5 we loved the campsite it had everything you needed and the site was very clean and well maintained! Loved the little shop/cafe on site! Pitches were a good size. Friendly staff 😊

Would have liked the park to have some stuff for younger children and some charging points would have made it a perfect stay but would definitely stay again!

V quiet area,country feel,but near a town, useful shop and good showers etc.Fair price

Water not available in my pitch area.prefer more designated pitch areas,hedge or small divisions.

The campsite was amazingly laid out and very clean amenities! The owner was very lovely and great coffee in their shop. Pastries went down well and hot chocolate. The pod was perfect!warm and cool when needed, Tv worked well when I had a sneak peek when my little girl was a sleep. There was a fridge which was ample for our stay. Showers, toilets and cleaning sinks were always clean. Easy accesss to Coleford or tourist sights by car and even walking.

Spacious pitches! Peaceful, love the firepit in the evening, close to forest of dean, walk to coleford about a mile, facilities good, cut grass picked up so no grass cuttings in tent on damp grass! Great friendly staff!

Not a lot to dislike but to improve maybe hooks in shower and small shelves for your shower stuff. Jcloths or similar in bathroom so campers can wipe down after washing? Maybe a limit on cars on individual pitch as we had 2 cars and 2 vans on pitch next to us (46) which felt hemmed in a bit . Never a criticism but constructive I hope as we love the campsite and only want to see it prosper!

Large pitches with lots of hedgerow for privacy. Everyone respected the quiet time rules and in the daytime it was also very peaceful. A lovely field at the back for children to play in was a great plus as well as the local park just 5 minutes walk away. The freshly backed croissants at breakfast were also a huge plus!

Not really a dislike but a more industrious washing machine would be a luxury.

The layout of the camp was great with several sections making it feel cosey, but never that far from the toilets, kitchens, and play area. Facilities were clean, staff friendly and accommodating!

The camping pod was lovely - spacious, clean, with multiple electric points and a mini fridge. The bed was comfy, and it was lovely to sit out on the porch in the evening and then again in the morning - I bought my camping chair but didn't need it as two chairs and a coffee table were provided. The site was well-kept and quiet, and the shower and toilet block was modern and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Nothing to dislike! Some people have mentioned the uneven road leading to the site - it is an unpaved road and so of course it's a bit bumpy, but I thought it was fine, so long as you go slowly at the 10mph speed limit!

The campsite was clean and tidy with good facilities.
The staff were friendly, helpful and respectful, they did not micro manage every letter of the site rules and trusted vistors to the site to use good judgement and act sensibly. They all had a good sense of humour and good knowledge of the area.
The pitches were well kept with the grounds being regularly maintained.

My only gripe would be the items on sale in the shop, I didn't see any meat/BBQ style food. That being said Coleford is a 15min walk away so no big drama.

The facilities are only small (four showers and four toilets in the ladies), however they were kept immaculate throughout our stay and were appropriately sized for the size of the site.
Friday pizza night was a nice touch during our stay and took the pressure off sorting dinner and cleaning up, even only for one night! Although it was a bit pricey.

Children’s play area was so disappointing. Only some monkey bars in a field which were not fully fixed - some parts fallen off. Nothing for younger children like a slide or swings and no benches for adults to sit on to supervise. It was nice to have a reserved grass area for them to play, but overall it was a big let down.
The shop on site did not open until 9am, which I feel is very late for a campsite compared to every other we have visited. And no alcohol served in the shop so be prepared not to run out!

Father and daughter camping Adventure in the pod was a success? A great experience as it was our first time in a pod! Clean facilities, Modern and well lit. Signage was clear around the site, Reception was welcoming and they also sold Hot and cold food and drinks,ice cream. Enjoyed our stay.

Daughter aged 7 requested the park to have a slide installed and maybe some activities for smaller children pod beds were a bit creaky?
