EcoRich

- Large, private sites at a 100-acre rural Texas property
- Dinosaur Valley State Park and Dinosaur World within a 15-minute drive
- By Richardson Creek, with access for swimming and fishing
Pure unadulterated Texas countryside is what’s in store at EcoRich – and lots of it… this property stretches over a fabulous 100 acres on the northern slope of the Richardson Creek Valley, and it’s been kept as natural as possible to give guests that feeling of staying right out in the wilderness.
Boosting that ‘wild and free’ vibe even more is the fact that there are only a handful of campsites at this property – each of them nicely spacious, surrounded by trees and set well away from the others for complete peace and privacy.
Being wild in style doesn’t mean a complete lack of amenities, however – sites have been provided with fire rings and picnic tables, and guests have access to a compost toilet and drinking water up by the main barn.
In general you’ll be able to set your site up and enjoy the place as you wish, perhaps going for a swim in Richardson Creek when water levels permit, trying your hand at some fishing or going out for a hike through the surroundings, looking for wildlife around the pastures, brush land and ponds.
There are, however, a few rules you’ll be asked to abide by, so that the place stays safe and comfortable for all guests. These include no ATVs/dirtbikes, no shooting and no glass containers on site. You’ll also be asked to take all refuse away with you, and to refrain from loud music (and keep quiet hours after 9pm).
For any provisions you may need, it’s a 20-minute drive to Stephenville, which also has plenty of places to eat out or pick up takeaways.
