Liked: Wally was so nice and informative and made sure we enjoyed our stay on his farm. decent internet connection. the close proximity to walmart (5 mins) just in case for those last minute grabs of wood and anything else you may have forgotten.

Disliked: NONE!

Recommend to friends Visit again

Pretty view/property, nice campsites with decent amount of privacy between the others…

You’re close to hiking routes in Minnewaska State Park Preserve (10 minutes' drive) and the Mohonk Preserve (20 minutes) while Witch’s Hole State Forest (10 minutes) also has some gentle looped trails leading to a waterfall. If you want to up the adrenaline buzz, rock climbing and camping go hand in chalky hand. There’s cool climbing in the Shawangunk Mountains (The Gunx, 20 minutes) and at Sam’s Point Area of Minnewaska State Park Preserve (25 minutes). And for a real step outside your comfort zone, why not fix yourself up with a parachute jump at Skydive The Ranch (30 minutes)? If you’ve got kids along on your adventure, treat them to animal encounters at Frederick Farm Goat Rescue and Sanctuary (15 minutes), or get them up and active with paddle boat rental, archery sessions, and tractor rides at Pine Ridge Dude Ranch (10 minutes).
