Liked: Prachtige omgeving. Vriendelijk onthaal. Kleine gezellige camping

Disliked: De nachtelijke feesten in het dorp die tot de ochtend verdergaan. Waarschijnlijk enkel het 2de weekend van september, maar doorgaan tot 5 a 6 uur in de ochtend? Toch wat te veel van het goede.

Liked: Views of the mountains are spectacular. Clean facilities and close proximity to pretty village and local walks

Disliked: Having to move the van when a very rude Spanish couple insisted we were on their pitch and the management agreed they should not have told us to pitch there! Access to terraces is very very steep for vehicles and pitches are small

Liked: - La ubicación del camping y el entorno natural - Aceptan perros sin coste adicional - Tranquilidad, silencio e iluminación nocturna reducida a lo esencial, para no molestar - La parcela que elegimos (tras la primera noche en parcela provisional) era agradable, íntima y con buenas vistas - Instalaciones reformadas hace pocos años - Trato del personal: dueño del camping y un empleado joven, ambos amables y atentos

Disliked: - La primera noche se nos dió una parcela provisional muy ajustada de tamaño para la autocaravana, por falta de previsión entre check-in y check-out de los campistas -Varias parcelas apenas tienen hierba en suelo, aunque es normal, dadas las fechas y la cantidad de campistas que han pasado (finales de agosto) - Quizás algo faltos de personal: había una empleada joven con trato al cliente bastante mejorable - Información desactualizada: plano de camping desfasado; servicio de alquiler de e-bikes anulado, a pesar de que lo siguen publicitando online y en cartelería del camping - Las instalaciones les falta algo de mantenimiento y mayor limpieza, sobre todo en duchas - Instalación de vaciado de aguas grises y toma de agua para autocaravanas bastante mejorable

Liked: El camping estaba un poco masificado pero es tranquilo y agradable de estar. Rodeado de montañas, a un paso del pueblo y al lado del Río. La panadería y los bares del pueblo inmejorables, así como la piscina pública con derecho a gimnasio, sauna y jacuzzi por solo 3€ al día.

Liked: - Lage ist unbeschreiblich schön - 2 Minuten ins Dorf - Zeltplatz ist ruhig - Sanitäre Anlagen sauber

Disliked: - kleine Parzellen (2 kleine Zelte) ohne Auto und es wird mit dem Nachbar gekuschelt - Rezeption teilweise unfreundlich - Verständigung sehr schlecht, nur Spanisch und ein wenig Englisch.

Local attractions

The Somiedo Natural Park Biosphere Reserve and UNESCO World Heritage Site surrounding La Pomarada De Somiedo is in a simply spectacular part of Spain spanning five valleys and their rivers, many ancient fishing villages and more than 60 protected natural areas. Start to explore straight from the site along the local footpaths and mountain bike trails, or by strolling into Pola de Somiedo to load up on info about the park at its tourist office. There are 12 routes around the lakes and mountains of the reserve for hiking, biking and horse riding, or you can zip faster along the region's landscape at the Leitariegos ski resort an hour's drive away. For more placid days in Cantabria, visit the museum of wine in Cangas de Narcea, about a hour and a half's drive away but def worth the detour to dip in the history and culture of Spanish wine production.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 7 day(s) of arrival.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Unsupervised minors must have a letter of authorization from their parents or legal guardian.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Breed-specific legislation (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
Your dog must be tattooed or microchipped.

General

A state-issued fishing license is required (you'll need to apply for this beforehand).
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet hours must be respected between midnight and 8 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and trunks must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The restaurant is open between 03/15 and 10/31.

Reception

Reception is open from noon to 9 p.m. between 03/15 and 10/31.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Open fires are prohibited.

Sites

You must follow management instructions when setting up your tent/rig and related equipment.

Taxes

This area is not subject to city tax.

No vehicle movement between midnight and 8 a.m..
Only one car is to be parked at the site. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
The car is only included in the rate if you are traveling with a camper, trailer tent or tent. Cars are not permitted when traveling with a motorhome/RV.

Visitors

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
Visitors must leave the premises by midnight.
