Great location for Monfragüe National Park, with friendly staff. Clean facilities, pool, and restaurant are highlights. Some noted the need for pitch tidying and limited WiFi/shop options.

Friendly staff but site needs a lot of work.

Liked Olga on reception was lovely and friendly and very helpful with information on surrounding area.
Toilet and shower block nice and clean. Decent meal in restaurant, although we were the only couple in there. Carlos the waiter was friendly.
Nice swimming pool, although we were told to take our glasses off to go in.
Disliked The actual site looked like an open derelict patch of land, that has been abandoned, neglected and in a state of disrepair. There were about a dozen old touring caravans on the site, which were lived in and had obviously been pitched there for years. They looked so run down, we first thought they had been dumped and abandoned. The rest of the site was empty apart from us and 2 others motorhomes. The ground was no way suitable for parking, due to the uneven levels, pot holes and rough ground. There was old plant machinery left on the site making it look more like an abandoned building site. This site needs a lot of time and money spent on it for it to work, and remove all the old derelict looking caravans. We booked for 3 nights but left after one night.

Disliked Location and lack of signposting. We have two satnav systems and neither of them could find the place. After 1 hour we gave up went to Caceres.

Liked Location location location! Great restuaurant, (not open Wednesdays) small shop with limited options but had what we needed, friendly staff with good english when we couldn't manage Spanish and a nice swimming pool. Washrooms were exemplary. There were fine bike rides to be had, and of course the wildlife centre next door is a gem. Vulture watching is a must.

Liked Large pitch & very clean facilities. The lady on reception was very welcoming & knowledgeable about the local area. The only downside was that we were only on a 1 night stopover so didn’t get to enjoy the local wildlife
