A peaceful green setting among a shaded park and a lush location quite literally by the sea – sound like your sort of hol? Then have it sorted at the dog-friendly coastal site Alannia Costa Dorada, 10 kilometres south of L'Hospitalet de L'Infant in Tarragona and a 25-minute drive away from PortAventura. This splendid place has been welcoming guests since 1959 and is thus well versed in showing holidaymakers a cracking time – it’s kitted out with a heap of facilities for all ages, all right next door to Almadraba beach, hailed as being one of the quietest on the Costa Dorada. Kids might find they’d rather hang around at the playground – it’s got a big bug-themed ant slide to slither down, as well as swings and other fun kit to clamber on. Otherwise, there’s lots to do at the multisports area nearby, and kids’ activities are organised by the on-site team daily in the summer hols. Then make your merry way to the restaurant for Mediterranean and regional cuisine – obviously, you’ll want to dine on that roomy sea view terrace too – or stock up on groceries at the mini market to make your own meals. Most handily, car hire is available too should at any point you feel able to tear yourself away from all the fab family facilities here.

Family days are a cinch to sort from here: rent a car on site to be at PortAventura World in 25 minutes; fab family waterpark Aquópolis is a few minutes further, while within 40 minutes is the Jungle Trek treetop adventure park, one of the biggest in Catalonia. Fishing, watersports and sea swimming are all handily available nearby too, along with other land-based pursuits like hiking, cycling and exploring the Ebro Delta Natural Park wetland area. Drive a short distance inland to the Vandellòs’ Olive Oil Interpretation Centre: here you’ll learn about how this tasty stuff is produced through exhibits and talks by oil makers, and you’ll get to purchase the goods there afterwards too (time to stock up on your Spanish souvenirs if you’re feeling generous?).

Liked: Location to beach

Disliked: Shower blocked dirty, pitches cramped and small, not built to accommodate motorhomes , certainly not one my size, staff unhelpful, crammed in.like sardines and very noisy. Booked two nights but left after one, had a call to ask if we had left and when I said why they just said oh thanks no apology or nothing

Disliked: Parcela con demasiado sol ,sin sombra.
Lavabos muy sucios ,poco frequencia en limpiar .
Agua piscina muy caliente,demasiado pequeña para tanta gente

Liked: Ciao, prima esperienza con il camper presso questa struttura, molto servita, pulita e servizi disponibili dislocati in molte parti del campeggio.
Consiglierei la struttura, anche se servizi di trasporto presso un centro abitato non presenti, quindi meglio se si ha una auto a disposizione.
Spiaggia e mare stupendo, accessibile direttamente dal campeggio.

Météo à vérifier avant votre arrivée pour bien se préparer car le vent dans la région peut facilement atteindre les 80km/h

Vriendelijk onthaal aan de receptie.
Onderhouden tuin aan zwembad.
Top annimatieteam

Disliked: Netheid van douches en toiletten, 4 douches en 4 toiletten voor dames is veel te weinig.
Alles gebeurde in het spaans alhoewel het animatieteam heel loef was waren al de shows in het spaans. Niet zo leuk om de show te volgen.
Het zwembad zelf mag meer onderhouden worden, vuiligheid int weter , vol met zand in de grond.

Liked: El camping está súper bien es tranquilo la gente que trabaja allí muy simpática hay animación para niños si que repetiria
La playa está al lado y se está bien

Disliked: La.limpieza en los baños es escasa siempre están sucios
La.piscina se queda algo pequeña para la gente que hay y deberían de plantearse poner más baños ya que hay muy pocos y se hacen colas para la.ducha
