A riverside location and views of the Pyrenees – sounds like a pretty fine mix, right? That’s the splendid setting you'll get when you stay at HolaCamp Arán Aventura, in a lush wooded valley just outside the small Catalonia town of Les.
The setting and the scenery are fabulous here, with the river Garonne flowing along the edge of the site for pretty waterside walks and bike rides, and the town handily close by (about 10 minutes’ walk) for shops and places to eat.
Outdoor enthusiasts should find plenty to keep them occupied in the surrounding area – rafting, climbing, canyoning and mountain biking routes are all close by, and there are hiking trails galore. Mountain trails like those at Tuc des Neres (20 minutes' drive) or Pico Montlude (25 minutes) present good challenges, or there are more easygoing options like wooded paths of Bosque de Carlac (10 minutes), where a popular trail leads to the pretty Cascada de Carlac waterfall. Come in winter and you can hit the ski slopes of Baqueira-Beret (50 minutes).
Downtime on site might involve rather gentler activities – perhaps a game of padel, a dip in the outdoor pool (while the kids splash in the paddling pool) or just chilling out with snacks, drinks and ice creams from the café. You’re welcome to light up a barbecue here, and to bring your dog along to keep you company.

- No bachelor/bachelorette parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
- Twin axle vehicles are not permitted on site.
- Bookings must not be for more than 21 consecutive nights.
- Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
- Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
- No charcoal barbecues allowed.

Excelente camping en la Vall d'Aran. Calidad precio inmejorable.
Powered grass and earth tent or RV campsite
Liked Éste camping es increíble para el precio que cobran. Las parcelas son grandes, el camping no es muy grande y aún así no está masificado. La piscina está genial, muy limpia eso sí, fresquita como cualquier piscina del pirineo que no esté climatizada. El mismo camping cuenta con un parque de aventuras con tirolinas y puentes tibetanos (se paga a parte). Los baños y duchas en proporción suficiente y también limpios. El personal de recepción y mantenimiento súper eficiente. Es todo fácil, llegas y escoges parcela. El bar restaurante con precios más que aceptables, calidad en comida y trato excelente del personal. Volveremos!

Local attractions
Finding outdoor adventures shouldn't be too tricky here – there are a couple of via ferrata climbing routes and an adventure park with treetop trails within walking distance of the site. The activity centre next to the site organises things like canoeing, rafting and canyoning, and the Mourtis ski resort is about half an hour’s drive away for winter sports.
Exploring on foot might take you to places like Uelhs deth Joèu nature reserve (half an hour’s drive) or Alt Pirineu Natural Park (an hour) – or you could opt for a more easygoing jaunt around the town of Vielha (20 minutes), an attractive place where two rivers meet and the streets are lined with historic buildings. The town's Museo del Valle de Arán is worth a visit while you're there.
Families might want to add a trip to Aran Park - Parc Animalier (15 minutes) to the schedule; if you’re looking for a more grownup activity, perhaps a soothing soak in the Baronía de Les thermal baths (five minutes) would fit the bill.
