Get hiking, get fishing and get city visiting with a stay at Camping Cubillas in Castilla y León: in a walkers’ paradise near the Canal de Castilla hiking route, 10 minutes’ walk from the superb casting off of the Pisuerga river, and 10 minutes’ drive from the cities of Palencia and Valladolid. This is full-on wine land too, in a traditional Castillan landscape surrounded by small wine-producing villages: the Valladolid region is world famed for its vino and has wines from five protected designation of origin areas including the Ribera del Duero. (Top tip? Take a Ribera del Duero wine tour while you’re in the area.) Camping Cubillas has an outdoor pool and a huge surrounding area at which to lounge and to soak up some sun. Eats are covered at the barbecue facilities of the site’s big garden, but if you’re of the firm belief that cooking is too much faff while on hol, amble along to the site restaurant to eat your fill of traditional dishes made with fresh local produce.

Liked: Quiet site, we could pitch where we wanted. Plenty of space for our overnight as it was quiet.
Clean toilets and showers

Disliked: Pitches would normally be too small for us. Motorway noise could be heard onsite.

Liked: Yo venía haciendo el camino del Canal de Castilla a pie, por tanto la ubicación del camping, próxima al canal, era ideal. Llegué al final de la tarde, para pasar una noche y marcharme a primera hora de la mañana.
En cuanto al servicio, reunía todo lo necesario, recepción, información (la chica de información y el chico del bar muy atentos) aseos y duchas, así como la parcela, en un espacio tranquilo y resguardado.
El bar, además, como cierra tarde, me dió la oportunidad de tomar algo sentado tranquilamente antes de dormir, ya que llegué a última hora.

il y a 5 minutes sur Google
Un des pires camping fait. En van pour une nuit, la réservation disant arrivée 14h mais la réception n'ouvre qu'à 16h. Emplacement libre près d'un bois d'eucalyptus avec grillage arraché par terre. Une seule borne d'électricité pourune dizaine de campeurs mais seulement 2 prises qui fonctionnent car les autres sont attachées. Les sanitaires sont horribles à la limite du fonctionnel. Pas de papier toilette et dégueulasses. Une douche sur 3 fonctionne et 1 seul WC pour les femmes. Idem côté hommes. Le chauffe eau à l'extérieur est branché à côté de l'eau pour un pauvre evier de vaisselle avec des câbles dangereusement mal en point.
La piscine est belle mais salle. Beaucoup de jeux pour enfants mais qui comportent de nombreux risques (ferraille cassée et rouillée, sol qui a des marches qui dépassent et cassées...).. pas de poubelles à proximité.
Des chiens font un vacarmes infernales.. nuit difficile 😓
38e pour 2 personnes un van et un chien. Trop cher comparé aux autres camping portugais.

Liked: El bungalow esta muy bien, con su parcela.
La piscina es grande, separada para adultos y niños con un tobogan para niños y adultos.

Esta en la salida de la autovia, a pocos km de Valladolid. Ideal para visitar Bodegas, Valladolid, Peñafria, Dueñas, Palencia, Cigales, etc.

Ideal para andar en bicicleta por los pueblitos de alrededor entre viñedos casi no hay trafico.
Tiene bar en la piscina donde tambien tienen cosas para comer.

A un paseito 10 minutos esta la gasolinera donde hay un restaurante de los de toda la vida abierto 24 horas donde se come muy bien y puedes tomarte algo.
Admiten mascotas.

Disliked: Algo descuidado, las barbacoas son portatiles y algunas necesitan cambiarse.

Liked: L emplacement du camping c’est correct car il est prêt de l’autoroute. Cela évite de faire un détour de plusieurs kilomètres. Il est idéal pour l’arrêt d’une nuit pas plus l’accueil était agréable et la prise en charge rapide. La piscine est correcte sanitaire était propre et correct aussi.

Disliked: Les emplacements ne sont pas distribuées à l’enregistrement. C’est tableau de trouver notre emplacement ce qui est déplaisant. Quand on fait plusieurs sortes de route cela avec une fatigue en plus une odeur nauséabonde se dégage du camping. Cela est déplaisant.

Local attractions

As it’s so close to both the Canal de Castilla and the Pisuerga river, Camping Cubillas is in excellent location for trekking and cycling as well as river fishing for carp, barbel and brown trout. Townwise, take a trip to Valladolid (10 minutes away) for days exploring its Old Town, National Museum of Sculpture and many handsome old churches; and Palencia, also 10 minutes away and home to high city walls, a 13th-century church and La Olmeda Roman villa. The 15th-century castle at Ampudia is open for guided tours and is under 30 kilometres away; further afield, you could also get to the St James’s Way stopoff town of Frómista, 54 kilometres away, and Olmedo and its Palacio Caballero de Olmedo museum, 67 kilometres from base.

Admission

All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
Your dog must be tattooed or microchipped.

Extras

Motorcycle(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General

Entertainment and activities are available between 06/15 and 09/04.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet hours must be respected between midnight and 7:30 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and trunks must be closed quietly.
The grocery shop is open between 01/15 and 12/31.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The restaurant is open between 05/01 and 09/30.

Hired accommodation

Hired accommodation: €50.00 ($54.98) damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found.
