What customers say

Great site, loved by guests for location & bus to Salamanca. Staff are friendly & helpful. Facilities, especially showers/toilets, are clean & plentiful. Large pool. Pitches are spacious. Some find facilities dated, lack shade in heat. Pitches can get dusty/muddy. On-site bar/restaurant good too.

Liked Reception staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of toilets, showers and washing up sinks. Never a need to queue. Express programmes on the washing machines. Bus stop directly outside so handy for getting into town.

Disliked Overall the site looked very untidy. Lots of fallen leaves, which can’t be helped but the planters all needed weeding and that would make everything look a lot tidier.

Powered grass RV campsite

Liked Overall nice campsite. Small park for kids. Good showers, decent toilets and washing and drying facilities.
The swimming pool was very good, it has a big pool along side a small pool for toddlers.
Not far from Salamanca via bus or driving.

Disliked One bar staff in Particular didn’t know what it meant to have manners. It doesn’t matter what language is spoken.

Local attractions

This is a brill base for exploring the vibrant and history-packed student city of Salamanca, without a doubt Castilla's liveliest city and famed the world over for its characteristic rare beauty. Make sure you visit Plaza Mayor – hailed by many as Spain's most spectacular central plaza – especially at nighttime to see the splendid illumination of its beaut baroque architecture. If skiing or snowboarding are your sports of choice, the resort of La Covatilla lies 80 kilometres from base, where there are 27 kilometres of slopes accessed by three ski lifts that transport you to elevations of between 1,990 and 2,368 metres above sea level. For golf, Zarapicos and Villamayor have good courses, and intermediate and experienced horse riders can visit the northern and southern valleys of Sierra de Gredos for hacks through open fields and along riverbanks for smashing views over the surrounding lands. The region is covered with a constellation of small villages, including La Alberca, Ciudad Rodrigo and Mogarraz, and there's a smashing woodland hiking path, the Camino del Agua, that runs along a route linking the villages of Mogarraz and Monforte.
