How fab is this spot? Set among a vast pine forest a few minutes’ walk from the edge of the Sierra de Gredos mountain range, this peaceful place is a scenic hikers’ paradise within easy reach of waymarked trails. The site is also 100 metres from the Tormes river, for cooling dips in its waters for when you come back puffed out after a long hike. It all sits pretty within the Navarredonda forest, within easy ambling distance of a mountain spring and with smashing views of the glacial peaks of the Circo de Gredos. The playground will keep kids amply occupied, and there’s a TV room for rainy days and cosy nights; other than this, there’s no entertainment at the park to distract you from all that spectacular scenery. Gaze upon it further on one of the site’s several scenic restaurant terraces – or source some barbecue supplies from the on-site shop – and throw many an admiring gaze out at your beaut surrounds as you dine on fine Castilian food. Handily for caravan peeps, the site has a service point where you can top up on water and electricity ready for when you hit the road again (or remain on site should you be tempted to change course and stay longer).

Lovely mountain setting in the Gredos. Peaceful with spacious sites. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms with hot water, great food. Remote location a plus, but some facilities could use updating, and cell/Wi-Fi signal is weak. Some sites overgrown/uneven. Busy at times.

Close to walks in mountains via a nearby road taking you to a tourist spot
Village up from site has village shop and petrol station

Disliked Booked because of bar and restaurant which says on Pitch uo open till 1 Nov, it's only open at weekends and not at all from 30 Sept

Liked Mucho espacio para montar tu tienda, muy buen trato por parte de la persona q nos atendió, un sitio totalmente en plena naturaleza, poco ruido exceptuando los cantares de los pajaritos, dos cuartos de baño con varias duchas en diferentes puntos, todo muy limpio

Liked Como siempre una maravilla de camping, rodeado de naturaleza, ideal para descansar. Duermes arropado por la noche y por el día las temperaturas son maravillosas. Las instalaciones limpias. Volveremos como siempre.

Disliked Estaba muy lleno, no quedaban parcelas que estviesen limpias de maleza y niveladas. Poco mantenimiento. Un baño para todo el camping.
Mucho jaleo, música por la noche, no me cuadra en un camping de montaña, al que al menos yo voy en busca de tranquilidad.
La cafetería fatal. No da servicio a los campistas porque lo tiene lleno con reservas externas. Ni un bocadillo te hacen. Solo un día pedimos desayuno y nos pusieron unas magdalenas más duras que una piedra.

Liked Entorno inigualable, en pleno Parque Nacional de Gredos, rodeado de vegetación, camping muy natural.
Baños amplios y limpios, restaurante con gran terraza y porche y buena atención en general.

Disliked Poca cobertura móvil y datos muy lentos.

Liked Friendly and welcoming. A stunning drive up to the camp site.
A surprise party night which really enjoyed. Steak and red wine was delicious. Lovely location

Disliked Toilets and shower blocks could do either updating, but clean and powerful showers.

Liked El entorno es maravilloso muy cerca de la plataforma de gredos y de las chorreras . Los encargados del camping muy amables y serviciales.

Disliked Poca señal WiFi, el único sitio donde llegaba bien era en el restaurante. La señal de tv aceptable aunque no se ven todos los canales .

Liked La tranquilidad, las parcelas no están bien definidas y eso da sensación de mayor naturalidad. El menú y en general el restaurante está muy bien
