Liked Ruime staanplaats. Ter plekke zelf te kiezen. Sanitair was schoon. Vriendelijk en flexibel personeel. Mooie omgeving!

Disliked Klein puntje van aandacht; vanaf 23:00u moet het rustig zijn. De gemeenschappelijke activiteitenruimte was op vrijdagavond verhuurd voor een besloten feest. Als mensen komen voor de rust en vooraf boeken, had dit wel kenbaar gemaakt mogen worden bij het boeken.

Liked Mooie rustige en nette vlakke plek om de tent neer te zetten. Leuke speeltuin voor de kinderen en skelters beschikbaar. Verder goed en vriendelijk ontvangen door de dochter van de eigenaar en rondgeleid langs de beschikbare plekken waar we zelf uit konden kiezen

Disliked Geiten van de geitenboerderij mekkeren ook wel eens 's nachts, dat heeft zo zijn charme. Voor ons was dat geen probleem maar verwacht dus geen absolute stilte

Liked De vriendelijkheid en verzorgde plek en faciliteiten.

Disliked Het zandpad waar de routeplanner me heen stuurde. Op de motor is dat lastiger rijden.
Maar dat licht niet aan de camping uitbater want die geven het aan in hun folder.

Liked Relaxed vibe. Hilarious, the owner was lovely & helpful. Goat milking farm so noisy at milking time but didn't bother us. Some very kind long term Dutch campers there.
Beautiful walks all around & plenty of wildlife. So many storks! Washk g machine & dryer available but not the cleanest as I think it's used as a farm machine.

Disliked 50c for the shower is inconvenient just especially if you don't have plenty of 50c pieces!

Local attractions

If hols spent exploring local towns appeal, then this is absolutely the right spot. The site is well placed for wandering around the shops, museums and markets of Zelhem, and for experiencing the festivals, horse fair and carriage rides of Hengelo, both within five minutes’ drive. Turn next to Ruurlo, 15 minutes' drive away, to clamber around the castle and museum and to take a dip in the outdoor pool (with 65-metre slide), making sure to stop along the way at one of the largest mazes in the Netherlands, 10 minutes from the site. Explores on two wheels are of course a must in the Netherlands, and a visit to Vorden (15 minutes from base) should satisfy. As well as the Wiersse Castle gardens, there’s an eight-castle cycle route there for a solid mix of history and biking. History is easy to stumble across hereabouts: the site’s 30 minutes from Bergh and Middachten castles, and 25 minutes from the 800-year-old city of Zutphen. The latter’s in good company too – it’s 20 minutes from base to Bronkhorst, a village that’s technically the smallest city in the Netherlands, and the museums, shops, restaurants and zoo of Arnhem are within 45 minutes.
