Any time is a good time for a stay at Tuscany Time – this small, friendly site between Capannoli and Palaia (10 minutes’ drive from both) is a place where you can slow down and enjoy some quality time with the kids surrounded by splendid views of the Tuscan hills. The site has been designed to be a cosy and safe place for family holidays – the sort of site where youngsters can run free, meet the owners’ pets (and yes, your dogs are welcome too) and play games in the open air. It’s all about appreciating the simple things, so there’s no long list of facilities here, but you will have access to all the essentials including a shared kitchen area with a barbecue and pizza oven, a sociable outdoor dining area, and a small shop selling local produce. There’s also a launderette and bathrooms with toilets and showers. Days can be spent taking leisurely walks or cycling from village to village through olive groves, perhaps stopping off at the odd winery or café along the way. There are also some great museums to visit in local towns, and you can also use Tuscany Time as a base for day trips to Pisa (40 minutes’ drive) or Florence (an hour and a quarter).

Guests love the peaceful vibe, roomy sites & friendly owners. Great location for local sights & the beach. Facilities are mostly clean, though some suggest shower/toilet improvements & better WiFi. Glamping area is developing nicely.

Liked I stayed for 3 weeks at the start of the season. The pitch was excellent & being March…quiet other than the wildlife…which is how camping should be. Even the weather was on our side.🌞 Great walk up the lane, for you & your dog too. The hosts & Pepper (the cat) were welcoming & friendly & must give a shout out for the fantastic home made pizza to order on a Friday night.

Liked Really peaceful location and great to have the campground to ourselves!
Warm greeting from Micheal who showed us where everything was … free access to the washing machine.
Bathroom facilities were very clean … great stay.

Liked Very peaceful. Friendly owners.

Disliked The shower and toilet could have been cleaner. We were there for two days and the floor wasn’t cleaned at all. The WiFi doesn’t reach where the camper vans are so you have to walk up the hill to the reception.

Liked Very nice place, peaceful environment and very nice owner couple from Czech. Working hard to improve.

Disliked nothing much, few of the facilities are under construction, but upper part of the glamping area looks already really nice!
