How’s this for a splendid location for a seaside break? Camping Taimì is in the Tuscan resort of Marina di Massa, a mere five-minute stroll from the free sandy beach. This location – between the centres of Marina di Massa and Marina di Carrara – is a handy one too for amenities and activities. There are several places to eat or pick up food supplies within a few minutes’ walk, and you’ll have a great choice of free and equipped beach spots to pick from too. Can’t summon up the energy to head out in search of food? No problem – there’s a bar on site that sells fresh croissants for breakfast, salads and sandwiches at lunch and a tempting range of ice creams and doughnuts alongside all the usual drinks. It’s also open in the evenings for your post-beach cocktails or dinner. To keep you entertained on site, there's an open-air pool with sun loungers, along with a soccer cage and a library/book swap – picking something up from here and heading over to the shaded reading area (kitted out with hammocks and comfy chairs) is a fine use of an afternoon. Facilities have been well thought out here, with bathrooms that include amenities designed for kids and disabled visitors, plus a launderette and washing-up facilities. Dogs are welcome to join you on holidays here too, with an exercise area, dog shower and dog-sitting service on hand to make sure they’ll be well looked after.

Liked Der Campingplatz ist ruhig gelegen und überschaubar. Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Sanitäranlagen sind in die Jahre gekommen, aber immer sauber. Ein Restaurant mit landestypischen Speisen ist im Campingplatz vorhanden und ringsum gibt es fußläufig erreichbare Restaurants. Auch das Meer ist in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

Liked Sehr schöner, ruhiger und sauberer Campingplatz.
Wir haben den Pool sehr genossen. Direkt gegenüber gibt es eine kleine Bäckerei mit köstlicher Focaccia.

Der Platz ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um tolle Ziele wie die Cinque Terre, Pisa oder den Marmorabbau in Carrara zu besuchen. Die Duschen, WCs und der gesamte Platz werden täglich gereinigt und sind in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand. Die Stellplätze sind großzügig angelegt.

Besonders hervorzuheben ist das freundliche Personal sowie die Angebote für Hunde: Es gibt eine Hundedusche und einen eingezäunten Bereich.

Disliked Nachts wird die Straße direkt am Campingplatz von Jugendlichen genutzt, um ihre Mofas aufheulen zu lassen. Aber auch nicht die ganze Nacht.

Es war für Wohnwaegen schwierig, auf den Platz zu kommen. Wohnwaegen mussten grundsätzlich abhängen und die restlichen 20 m schieben.

Essen im Restaurant war ok.
Pool nur bis 19:00 offen.

Liked Lovely site and location. Great swimming pool and very nice pitches.

Disliked The pool bar/restaurant was shut every day until the evening. The site is very nice but the surrounding location and sites were noisy sometimes until the early hours of the morning (5am). We also had to have an argument to be able to leave before 8am.

Liked We loved this place because it was calm and peaceful despite being in a busy area. There was ground maintenance working every day to keep the place tidy and all staff were very polite and friendly.
The campsite had standard rules for noise and behaviour and the staff enforced this well.

Disliked Nothing to dislike, we will be back again!

Liked Trotz eines Buchungsfehler von meiner Seite, wurden wir herzlich empfangen und haben 3 wunderbare Tage erlebt. Der Campingplatz hat sehr gute Infrastruktur und wird sehr professionell von den Damen geführt!
Schöne grosse Stellplätze mit hohen Bäumen welche guten Schatten spenden im Sommer.

Disliked Der Weg zu Fuss bis zum Meer etwas lang.

Disliked Le mobil-home est joli bien équipé mais malheureusement placé en face des sanitaires du camping, et le couchage est infecte dur comme du béton.
L’option climatisation dans le mobil-home est une grosse arnaque, payé 35 € la semaine pour au final pouvoir l’utiliser seulement 8h/jour, évidement vous n’êtes pas rembourser si vous ne consommer pas tout le crédit, pas mentionné lors de la réservation.
Le WIFI est mauvais voir nul il faut ce déplacer à la piscine (hors-sol) pour en bénéficier.
Les bûcherons tronçonnent en pleine après midi de juillet.
Restaurant à éviter, manque d’amabilité et les plats de saveur.
Le camping ne propose aucune activités.
Il faut des bonnets de bain pour la piscine.

Parcele duże zacienione
Po drugiej stronie ulicy rodzinna kawiarnia (polecam lody i rogoliki pistacjowe) obok piekarnia bardzo dobrze zaopatrzona.

Local attractions

If you’re not one for lying on the beach you should find plenty of ways to keep busy nearby – perhaps riding bikes along the cycle path to Forte dei Marmi, taking a stroll along the wooded path in Ugo Pisa Sport Park or heading up into the Apuan Alps Park (about 20 minutes’ drive) for hikes, mountain biking and climbing along with a visit to the Monte Corchia cave system (an hour). A little way along the coast the Cinque Terre National Park (45 minutes) is also a wonderful place for a walk, as there’s a fabulous coastal path linking the villages. You can also see the scenery on a boat trip from Portovenere (an hour) – leave a little time to explore the village and its colourful seafront too, and to take a walk out to Lord Byron’s Cave. Elsewhere nearby there are several wineries to visit, or you could plan day trips to some of Tuscany’s attractions – Pisa (40 minutes), Florence (an hour and a half) and Siena (two hours) are all doable for days out.
