You might want to put down roots. Camping Campo dei Fiori, in Tuscany's Province of Livorno, is a big and shady site set in a pine forest, covering 16 hectares of lush green land – and a simple 700-metre stroll from the golden sands and clear blue waters of an Etruscan beach. Settle down for long lazy days among these handsome site surroundings and well-kept facilities: a swish big pool surrounded by palm trees, a Jacuzzi, a huge solarium area fitted with parasols and sunbeds, and a most pleasant bar for snacks, appetisers and happy hour cocktails. And there's a shopping centre… with a couple more bars, as well as a restaurant, a pizzeria and a supermarket selling fresh and local produce… and a playground and a football pitch, courts for tennis and volleyball, ping pong tables and bike rental so you can pedal down gently to the beach. Music events for all ages are arranged during summer days and evenings too. Amenities are well thought out and well looked after too, at the four groups of bathrooms with hot showers, the laundry with paid washing machines and dryers, and two shady and secure parking areas.

Local attractions

The Camping Campo dei Fiori team reckon that the site's setting in Tuscany and on the Etruscan coast has it pretty well placed for holidays balanced between nature and culture, from the wildlife and landscapes of the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago to the architecture and museums of cities like Florence and Pisa. The beach is metres away from the site for days of basking on golden sands or taking to its waters windsurfing, kite surfing, sailing, catamaran sailing or jetskiing. As it's the Etruscan coast, several other first-class beaches are within a couple of kilometres too: try Vada-Mazzanta to start or, a bit further away, the surfing and horse riding of Cecina Mare. Other options are touring the local vineyards to sample some spiffing Bolgheri wines, taking the ferry over to Elba, or pottering around the many military fortresses and old churches of province capital Livorno.

Liked De ruime plek die we hadden op de camping. De ligging van de camping is ideaal voor uitstapjes. Stranddagen en gewoon lekker hangen op de camping. Zwembad ook geschikt voor kleine kinderen, veel ondiep water, overzichtelijk en ook ruimte om te zwemmen. Niet een massale camping, precies goed.

Disliked Het sanitair van ons gebouw is wat verouderd maar functioneert verder goed.

Liked Super camping z gigantycznym basenem, animacjami dla dzieci, zarówno w dzien jak i wieczorem, sklepem, barem (z pysznymi winkami z nalewaka) i restauracja. Ubikacje czyste, prysznice ok z ciepłą wodą. Busik zawożący do 2 pobliskich plaży.

Liked Dużo drzew i cienia. Wszystko czego zapomniałeś możesz kupić na miejscu. Jedzenie w restauracji pyszne. Basen czysty. Łazienek dużo ,woda ciepła . 2 tygodnie odpoczynku.

We are opposite the pool in pitch 2,
Had a great couple of nights here,
Shame this wasn’t our first stop instead of our last because we would have definitely stayed longer.
Supermarket, restaurant excellent.
