Visit the Vercors Regional Nature Park, characterised by a wealth of natural treasures including deep gorges, caves, abysses, sheer cliffs, valleys, mountain meadows and forests and walk along its beautiful roads like Les Grands Goulets in the Drôme, and Les Gorges de la Bourne and Le Canyon des Écouges in the Isère, to enjoy amazing views. Discover Pont-en-Royans, a charming village in Vercors Regional Nature Park whose old houses overhang the Bourne, take a leisurely stroll along the river and stop to have lunch at one of the picnic tables or bathe in the waterfall. Don't miss the Water Museum, a fun scientific and cultural space devoted to water in all of its forms, including a water bar with no fewer than 1,500 bottles of water from all over the world! Take a trip to the village of Saint-Antoine-l-Abbaye and visit its famous abbey, where you will also find a well maintained and interesting museum that features several exhibitions, relating broadly to the history of the town, the abbey, and the surrounding region. Last but not least, Le Jardin des Fontaines Pétrifiantes, a lovely garden set on the banks of the river Isère with huge variety of plants, is definitely worth a visit.
