Liked: A lovely chilled out camp site. Swimming pool is located so you can sit a look at the mountains around you. Every two pitches has a facilities block with everything you need. Simple food and drinks at the bar all reasonably priced. Driving away the next morning we all said we will return for a longer visit. Staff helpful.

Liked: Tent space, toilet/showers. Close to electric hook up and water. Friendly staff

Disliked: All the facilities like pool, park etc had been left and they were in poor condition. Pool unusable.

From the manager: Merci pour votre avis. Notre épicerie a uniquement des produits de dépannage. Nos 4 supermarchés à moins de 5 km fournissent l'essentiel. Notre snack, par contre, avec uniquement des produits faits maisons, ne craint pas la concurrence aux alentours.

Local attractions

This centrally placed site has easy access to heaps of old mountain attractions, such as Embrun Cathedral, 15 minutes' drive away, the 12th-century abbey at Boscodon (20 minutes) and the silver mines of Fournel, half an hour away. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Fortifications of Vauban is within 50 minutes' drive. Kayakers will find this a cracking spot to wield the paddle in, as it's close to the Rabioux Wave, one of the most famed freewater kayaking destinations in Europe. If this isn't your thing, you can set out from the Rabioux leisure centre for via ferrata climbs, canyoning and mountain biking: whichever you pick, pack a steady nerve and an adventurous spirit. One of the biggest artificial lakes in Europe, Lac de Serre-Ponçon, is 20 minutes away for more peaceful times: swim or fish here, hire a boat or kayak for a gentler watery time than that of Rabioux, or pedal/hike the handsome paths around the lake. To expend even less effort, donkey rides are available about 10 minutes' drive from here.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.

Extras

Please select an electric hook-up if you wish to hire a fridge.

General

Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and trunks must be closed quietly.
The grocery shop is open between 06/01 and 09/30.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Hired accommodation

Hired accommodation: €500.00 ($528.77) damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found.
Your unit must be left clean and tidy; a fine of €50.00 ($54.05) will be charged for unclean units upon departure.

Pool

Only park guests are authorized to use the pool.
The outdoor swimming pool is open between 06/01 and 09/30 (subject to weather conditions).

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Open fires are prohibited.

Vehicles

Only one car is to be parked at the site. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.

Visitors

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
