Camping L'Atlantique is a lively, family-friendly site in Angles, in a splendid small village in the south of the Vendée, just minutes from the beaches of La Tranche-sur-Mer. There's a beach shuttle run by the site, so guests can be by the pool at one moment and on the sand the next.
Among its many facilities are a 440m² aquapark with outdoor pool, paddling pool and two waterslides, along with a hot tub and a 200m² indoor pool with paddling pool and whirlpool bath.
In July and August (the school holidays), the site organises activities and entertainment for all ages, including different sports and an ever-changing schedule of other varied activities. All year round guests have access to an open air fitness area, a volleyball court, a football field, table tennis, a pétanque court and a playground.
You can eat at the snack bar, get a pizza, or order takeaways. Bread can be ordered for the next day and charcoal barbecues are also available.

Local attractions
The beaches of La Tranche-sur-Mer are minutes away from the campsite, edged by waters popular for windsurfing, boat trips, sailing and fishing. Off the coast, visit the islands of Ré, Aix or Yeu.
Many walking and cycling trails are around the site for you to explore the area and its beaches, dunes, forests and salt marshes.
Good family options include the Indian Forest adventure park at Moutiers-les Mauxfaits, the zoo and gardens near the sea at Les Sables d'Olonne and the aquarium and castle at Talmont-Saint-Hilaire. Moustiers Les Mauxfaits also has a large aquapark.
A casino is in La Faute-sur-Mer 16 kilometres from the campsite; La Rochelle with its aquarium is within 57 kilometres, and the Puy du Fou theme park is 88 kilometres from the site.
