  • Lush and leafy site 35 minutes' drive from the Gorges de l'Aveyron
  • Book mountain biking, caving, canoeing and other outdoor trips on site
  • Outdoor pool and playground with climbing wall, plus summer activities
Come to Camping Les 3 Cantons for a particularly lush and lovely setting (a peek at its pics is highly recommended) – and its locale isn’t half bad either... The handsome Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val is around 10 minutes’ drive away, and the creeks and crevices of the Gorges de l'Aveyron are 35 minutes by car for canoeing, whitewater rafting, rambling and rock climbing. This is a highly scenic place, set across 15 hectares of leafy and landscaped grounds and surrounded by cycling trails for peaceful pedalling days out and about; bike hire is available on site. There's no problem arranging this or any of the many other outdoor options nearby: canoeing, mountain biking, via ferrata climbing and caving excursions are all bookable on site. Staying around the grounds, the outdoor pool and its neighbouring paddling pool (open between mid-May and mid-September) is where tiddlers and teens are likely to be found most of the time, unless they’re keeping themselves otherwise amused around the playground and climbing wall. A kids' club runs five days a week in high season to include activities like art and craft sessions to sports tournaments, obstacle courses, ghost hunts and a weekly kids’ disco. Sports tournaments are held in high season for the grownups too, or there's the option of tennis or pétanque in between sessions at the pool. Reunite the crew at the on-site restaurant and its leafy terrace, or pick up a barbecue pack to sort out dinner under your own steam.

Local attractions

Cycling trails network the local area, so if you fancy exploring these, saddle up on site and get going, there’s plenty to see. A venture out to Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val – around seven kilometres from base – is recommended due to its highly handsome nature and, if you’re there during spring or summer, its packed programme of festivities and events. Sporty types, adventurers and adrenaline addicts will have plenty to do around here too: kayaking and canoeing, whitewater rafting, fishing, horse riding, caving, rock climbing, paragliding and hiking are all easily reachable from the site. The local vicinity is great for all this, but if you fancy a change of scene, the spectacular Gorges de l'Aveyron are well worth the half-hourish drive out to. For a spot of sightseeing, the small medieval bastide towns of Cordes-sur-Ciel, Albi, Cahors are within easy reach, and the surrounding landscape is filled with vineyards, museums and ancient castles too.
