  • Peaceful wildlife haven in a wooded Lot valley
  • Gouffre de Padirac, Pech Merle and Rocamadour within 40 mins' drive
  • Heated pool on site, plus sports facilities, wifi and restaurant
Peaceful green space is in good supply at Domaine Papillon – this lovely Lot site is in the Causses du Quercy Regional Natural Park, and it spreads out over three hectares of open space within its own small wooded valley full of oak and walnut trees. That means there’s always plenty of fresh air and space to relax at this nature-filled location in the tiny village of Reyrevignes, where the old buildings have all been carefully restored to give the place a sense of timeless tradition. Facilities on site have all been set up to make life nice and convenient for guests, from the well-equipped toilet block (with free hot showers and disabled access) to the launderette that’s got a washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing kit and even a hairdryer. A grocery store sells essentials including fresh bread so you should have snacks and supplies sorted too. Having all this easily available on site means you’ll then be able to dedicate yourselves to the leisure facilities – perhaps taking off to the large heated pool for a swim and some sunbathing, playing games of table tennis, pétanque, volleyball or badminton, or settling in at the restaurant or outdoor lounge-bar for meals and drinks. A playground, mini library and wifi service are also on hand, so there should be pretty much something to suit all tastes here. And of course, you’ll want to plan outings too – this site is well located for many of the Lot’s must-visit attractions including Rocamadour, the Pech Merle cave, Gouffre de Padirac and Saint-Cirq-Lapopie.
