- Family-friendly naturist site among the hills of the Haute-Vienne
- Big lake for wild swimming, windsurfing, fishing and boating
- Ping pong, volleyball and pétanque, plus play caravan for younger kids
Leave your clobber carefreely off when staying at this lakeside site… As the name suggests, Camping Naturiste Lous Suais is a site for guests to potter proudly around either sans or avec kit. There are beaut views to behold from the site over the wooded hills of the Haute-Vienne too: just take a peek at the site pics to see the bucolic scenes in store for your family hikes and cycle tours.
The property lies peacefully across almost three hectares on the shores of a lake along the Maulde river, with windsurfing, fishing, and swimming being among the water-based activities for guests to get stuck into on site.
To keep the tadpoles out of trouble there’s a playground with a trampoline and a slide, plus a brightly decked-out play caravan with activities and games for tiddlies aged 3-6 years. Also at active guests’ disposal are a ping pong table and volleyball and pétanque courts, and for more sedate spells there’s a library with books for all ages and lingos, plus card and board games too, as well as a wifi zone around the site’s entrance.
In high season, daily coffee mornings and a weekly communal meal are held in the seasonal bar to encourage inter-guest mingling, and local excursions are organised too by the friendly site team. Come evening time once a week, a weekly open stage night gives talented guests a slot to perform their party pieces at.
Daily fresh bread delivery is available to sort your morning fodder, and you can satisfy small hunger pangs during the day with a visit to the snack bar or pick up essentials from the small shops around nearby Bujaleuf, 10 minutes’ drive away. For anything more (like supplies to sizzle at the barbecue area), several supermarkets – along with a 24-hour petrol station – are in Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat, and for the procurement of tasty regional produce, make tracks for the Saturday morning markets of Saint Léonard and Eymoutiers.
