Liked: The campsite in the most amazing setting surrounded by mountains. Warm welcome

Disliked: Pitches not very flat... Unfortunately Dogs were not on leads and dogs defecated on neighbouring pitches made it difficult when walking around in the dark

Il est fortement dommage et peu constructif pour nous, lorsqu'un client se cache derrière un avis au lieu de nous en faire part directement. Le 2/10 pour la propreté est difficile à encaisser ! Le camping et les sanitaires sont propres et souvent mentionnés dans les autres avis... Après, si un client n'a pas respecté le règlement, à savoir tenir son chien en laisse, il est vrai que ce n'est pas normal, maintenant j'espère pour vous que c'est du pied droit que vous êtes monté dedans, il paraît que cela porte chance ! It's a great pity and not very constructive for us when a customer hides behind a review instead of telling us about it directly. The 2/10 for cleanliness is hard to take! The campsite and sanitary facilities are clean and are often mentioned in other reviews... After that, if a customer hasn't respected the rules, i.e. keeping their dog on a lead, it's true that it's not normal, but now I hope for your sake that it was with the right foot that you climbed in, it's said to bring good luck! 1 bedroom microlodge (no private bathroom amenities)

Liked: A fantastic, tranquil location, greatwoodenblodge with microwave, fridge, electric hob and all utensils. Lovely touches all over. You have everything you need. Peace and quiet. As much as I loved what we paid I think this site deserves at least 3 stars, if not more, not two as currently stated. We will definitely be back soon. And we will try to stay for at least two or three nights, not only one, because it's definitely worth it!

Disliked: Nothing here,maybe expect overpriced IPA. But that's just me. Beer was good though.

Local attractions

Camping La Crémade is on the path of the GR367 Cathar Trail from Aude to Ariège, so hiking is an obvious choice. As its name suggests, the trail is all about spotting the impressive Cathar castles of Quéribus, Peyrepertuse, Montségur, Roquefixade and Foix (they’re all about 40 minutes to an hour away by car, if you’re not here for the hiking). You can take your treks underground with a visit to the Aguzou Cave (25-minute drive), where small groups can don helmets, suits and lights to explore the cave system (there’s no artificial lighting down there). See the sights by train instead, by catching Le Train Rouge from Axat (half an hour walk or five-minute drive) for a journey through valleys and tunnels, around rivers and along rocky landscapes dotted with vineyards – you’ll see some of the castles this way, too. Opt for aquatic adventures with a rafting trip along the Aude river and through the rapids of Gorges de Saint-Georges (five-minute drive). Or choose calmer waters at Axat’s swimming pool (five minutes), with an outdoor pool, paddling pool, waterslide and whirlpool-jacuzzi.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.
Unsupervised minors must have a letter of authorization from their parents or legal guardian.

Arrivals and departures

If the reception is closed on arrival, please check in at the bar.
Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.

Extras

Please select an electric hook-up if you wish to hire a fridge.

General

Entertainment and activities are available between 07/04 and 08/21.
Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
Quiet hours must be respected between midnight and 8:30 a.m..
The bar is open between 03/30 and 10/27.
The grocery shop is open between 04/03 and 10/29.
The restaurant is open between 05/01 and 09/20.

Hired accommodation

Hired accommodation: €300.00 ($326.83) damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found.
Your unit must be left clean and tidy; a fine of €60.00 ($65.37) will be charged for unclean units upon departure.

Occupancy

No bachelor/bachelorette parties permitted via Pitchup.com.

Reception

Reception is open from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. between 07/01 and 08/25.
Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. between 04/03 - 05/25 and 09/20 - 10/29.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.

Sites

A cable measuring at least 25 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
Sites: a €20.00 ($21.79) deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure when returning the gate badge/barrier pass/toilet keys.
You must follow management instructions when setting up your tent/rig and related equipment.

Vehicles

Only one car is to be parked at the site. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
