What customers say

This high-quality campground offers a beautiful, peaceful setting with spacious, well-maintained sites. Guests praised the excellent, clean facilities and the large, multi-level pool, ideal for kids. Plenty of on-site activities for all ages, including tennis. Though remote with challenging access roads, most enjoyed a tranquil stay & highly recommend it.

Powered grass and earth campsite

Liked -Beautiful environment
-Very clean facilities
-Spacious pitch
-The pool is a very good size and has different levels which is good for children, clean and tidy
-Lots of activities for children, tennis court, football, table tennis, pool.
-Although we didn’t see any entertainment as we only stayed one night it was advertised.

Disliked This is not a dislike for the site but more to make you aware , the site is remote and when in a camper there are lots of up and down hills and narrow roads to get there. Don’t let this put you off going it’s just to note

Local attractions

Set midway between Périgueux, with its Renaissance-era old town, and Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil (both half an hour’s drive), backed by cave-strewn cliffs, Ushuaïa Villages Le Bois Coquet is in prime position for day trips in spectacular Dordogne landscapes. Head to medieval Sarlat-la-Canéda (45 minutes) for its cathedral and markets on pretty cobbled squares, or Beynac-et-Cazenac (50 minutes) to kayak down the Dordogne River and to visit the clifftop chateau. There are plenty more chateaux to see in the Dordogne too. Chief among these is 13th-century Castelnaud-la-Chapelle Castle (55 minutes), complete with a museum of medieval weaponry. Interested in prehistory? Go deep underground at Grotte du Grand Roc (20 minutes) to spy grottos full of stalactites and stalagmites, or visit the ancient caves complex at Les Grottes du Roc de Cazelle (25 minutes), where cave paintings and dioramas form part of the fun. See the ethereal animal frescoes at Lascaux (40 minutes), and to find out more about ancient man, visit the National Museum of Prehistory (20 minutes).
