Liked: Really large pitches meaning we had our own space and some privacy, excellent games room which the children loved. Small enough to watch the children from afar and allow them some freedom. Good facilities, good location, peaceful and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

Powered grass campsite
Liked: We had a lovely stay on the Posh pitch with electric hook up, water, bench and fire pit. The shower and toilet block was immaculate and the showers were lovely and hot. The games room was a bonus for our older kids to entertain themselves and they even had a kick around on the football pitch. The shop was handy for any supplies we needed and also supplied us with logs for our nightly fire. The adjoining field was perfect for our 3 border collies to run round. The owners were really friendly and helpful. Over the road there is Wild Lakes water park with activities and a bouldering centre. We also had an enjoyable meal in their Tipi dining. Overall we had a fabulous break and will certainly return.

Stag's Hide shepherd's hut
Liked: A fantastic gem of a site. With fantastic views of only fields for as far as the eye can see and with fantastic amenities. We stayed in the Stag's Hide Shepherd's Hut which was beautifully appointed, was absolutely luxurious and with everything you could possible need. Would definately liken it to the Tardis - bigger on the inside! The weather was kind, so we made good use of the firepit and our bbq. The whole site is well maintained and the owners are friendly and very hard working to make sure everyones holidays are special, which ours was. We definately hope to return.
Disliked: Going home :(
