  • Safe and spacious site with well-maintained greenery all around
  • Just over a five-minute drive to Amroth beach and 15 to Saundersfoot
  • Pick-your-own produce shop and laser quest under a five-minute walk
If you’re seeking a simple and spacious spot for the family in south west Wales book in for a stay at Woodview - Golwg Y Coed, in a nifty position in Pembrokeshire to explore kid-friendly places like Oakwood Theme Park and Folly Farm Aventure Park and Zoo (both about a 15-minute drive). The site is located directly off a main trunk road, with a wide entrance that makes getting here particularly easy if you're in a large vehicle or towing a caravan. When not out and about at attractions with the kids, sun yourself on the grass while they run amok in the spacious grounds (or tire them out with a game at the laser combat centre just next door if they’re being extra energetic…). It's all nicely secure for smaller guests too, as the site gates are always closed to help offspring stay safe if they manage to escape from your watchful eye. The park is dog friendly as well; please just keep canine companions on leads while around the grounds. Venturing off site for beaches? Make your way to Amroth or Wiseman’s Bridge (which also has a pub with a beer garden looking out onto the sea), both under 10 minutes’ drive away. Access to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, a 186-mile trail skirting the seaside, is easy from either beach or you can drop by a riding school 10 minutes' drive away to organise a trot down on the sand. Back on site, you have access to a modern toilet block with free showers; for food to cook up on the camping stove, a pick-your-own farm produce shop is less than a five-minute walk away.

Liked: So easy to find. Site was clean The gentlemen was lovely , who owned the site. Cleaning lady was lovely Kids and the family enjoyed their stay . The gate was closed at all times and safe for small children To benefit the site a washer and dryer would be good ,that you charge and make back the money u pay for the Industry washing machine and tumble dryer. In town in Tenby it was £4 ,£8 a load for washing and a £1 each 20mins for drying Another thing to benefit site , would be a small park for children The owner did say about a double decker bus in busy season to do up and sell beer and pizza and a BQ night again could make money. Which I believe would be Fantastic idea and can make the money back for what he spends It was nice without tv , pubs

Disliked: All good

Liked: Nice quiet site with good access for larger vehicles and caravans, despite it being next to a main road.Couldn't hear any traffic noise at night, clean toilets and showers communal room for washing up charging points with microphone etc.The site is close to Tenby and saundersfoot and is great for walkers with the beach at amroth and national trust land walkable, if you arrive late and there is no one around just park in the nearest empty pitch , the owner is a nice guy and amenable, this is a small site with only about ten pitches so even when it's full it's fairly quiet, plenty of space for the kids to run around also, my family loved it and will return Ps, I don't know what the wi fi is like as I didn't use it ,I used the 4g on my phone and it worked fine

Disliked: Could do with better signage on the entrance as it's easy to drive past

Liked: The new facilities (in the wooden hut) were fine. Some hooks would be helpful (for towels, jackets etc) and a handdryer. All in all ok, but expensive...

Disliked: Nobody was available at the reception (and no signs or information about what to do on arrival). Grass needs to be cut.

Local attractions

Once the kids have zoomed through the air on the Megafobia ride at Oakwood Theme Park or petted the animals at Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, there are still plenty more attractions for them to tick off their bucket list – including the paintball, fishing, archery and golf at Heatherton World of Activities (15 minutes away by car). About a quarter of an hour away in the opposite direction, Morfa Bay Adventure has a mud assault course to slip and slide along, and trips to the seaside town of Tenby’s wide sandy beaches (20 minutes) are always winners with small humans – especially if you use the place as a jumping-off point for seal safari boat trips from the harbour. Closer by at 15 minutes’ drive from the site, Saundersfoot also has a working pier as well as a posh food truck (summer season) for mums and dads to indulge in a lobster takeaway as a treat for always putting the kids first...
