Primitive cement/asphalt RV campsite

Liked: Great spot for a couple of nights. Really close to centre of St David's and a lovely walk to the coastline. The owners were very friendly and there was a great atmosphere. We loved the bagel van that was there on Sunday morning - delicious. They also have another food van and the rugby club serve food too. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Primitive cement/asphalt RV campsite

Liked: Lovely clubhouse, lovely landlords jeff and karen, who being a fellow motorhome owners know what's required, couldn't eat in the clubhouse as there was going to be a rugby tournament on, but had a curry from the Sri Lankan curry stall which was delicious. Toilet and shower were accessible 24/7 as well. Loved it and will definitely use again!

Disliked: Nothing

Local attractions

Start your stay with a little stroll around St Davids, visiting the cathedral, Bishop’s Palace and Oriel y Parc gallery, before heading out of town on a path to Caerfai beach or Whitesands Bay. The latter is a well-known surf location, so you may prefer to drive there (five minutes' drive) if you’ve got boards with you. Walks on the Wales Coast Path are highly recommended, of course – perhaps along to St Non’s Chapel, to the little harbour at Porthclais or all the way along to the pretty village of Solva (10 minutes' drive). Heading north, Porthgain and the Blue Lagoon at Abereiddy (both 10 minutes) are also popular spots. This stretch of coast also attracts a whole lot of wildlife, and the best way to see some of that is on a boat trip to Ramsey Island, which you can organise from St Davids. Back on dry land, kids may well be intrigued by a trip to Dr Beynon’s Bug Farm (three minutes’ drive).
