Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked: Clean toilets & good showers. Basic but convenient site. Great little play area, washing up area & good disposal of waste. Close to Tenby and Saundersfoot. Nice shop for supplies just up the road.

Disliked: A little close to the main road, just to be aware.

Powered gravel travel trailer campsite

Liked: Lovely friendly site, had a detailed text specifying pitch location before we arrived, turn left through gate etc., nice touch. Phil met us on arrival, lots of local advice for the Ironman weekend arrangements. Nice big pitches too. (Site is a great spot to walk and watch Ironman bike and run if you're in to that). Nice walk into Saundersfoot, 5min drive to Tenby.

Disliked: Nothing, all good.

Primitive grass travel trailer campsite

Liked: This was a great site and the owner was very helpful when I arrived on. Friday evening. The wash rooms were not fancy but purposeful and clean. I wouldn’t expect fancy but I know some do. Walkable to Saundersfoot and Tenby but maybe a bit fare for older folk and kids that aren’t used to a bit of walking. Walked down to saundersfoot and along the coastal path to Tenby and loved it.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike 🥰

Powered gravel travel trailer campsite

Liked: Clean, quiet with good facilities. My son loved the park and the sand pit. There was even buckets and spades to make sandcastles. Good location. Booked again for the following weekend, even though pitch up says fully booked, the friendly owner agreed for us to return and said he would find room for us!

Disliked: Nothing to dislike!

Local attractions

Pembrokeshire has got a few tricks up its sleeves for those who want a thrill (or two, or three). Oakwood Theme Park (15 minutes’ drive) has rollercoasters and water rides, including loop-the-loops or family-friendly coasters. Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo (10 minutes) is its softer alternative, with over 750 animals and vintage fairground rides. Paintball, golf, archery, fishing… get your dose at Heatherton World of Activities (five minutes). If you’re still craving animals, however, Manor Wildlife Park (five minutes) has a walking safari where guests can have a go at feeding the wallabies. You bet that Pembrokeshire also has some gorgeous coastal path sections, with excellently clear waters and geological formations. The Green Bridge, Elugug Stacks and The Cauldron are all half an hour’s drive away, as is Saint Govan’s Chapel by the sea and the sandy Broad Haven South beach (half an hour), backed by a lily pond.
