Primitive gravel RV campsite
Liked: Lovely campsite. Friendly owners who recommended things to do near by. We loved how you could hire a fire pit with wood and a fire lighter. The campsite had clean facilities and flat pitches. You can tell that the owners are very passionate and care about the campsite. We loved our stay.
Disliked: That we didn't book to stay at the campsite for a longer time. It was the perfect campsite!

Liked: It was amazing! Personalised forest near your camp=check, enough space for the tent and a firepit=check, close by parking=check, toilet and shower=check, nearby old castle=check and good people and host=check. With a child all those are a must and with our little one it was awesome for her and us. She enjoyed it we enjoyed ourselves too.
Disliked: I didn't like the no music policy but did not make a difference to our awesome experience.

Primitive grass tent campsite (medium)
Liked: Lovely campsite, very quiet, very friendly campsite only thing was that it was extremely hard unloading using wheel burrows. Due to My tennis elbow I found it hard unloading and taking my things up to the pitch area.

Liked: Flat, well drained grass pitches with no cars allowed on the grass. Decent facilities with lots of recycling bins. A communal area with electric points plus fire pits to hire. Very friendly and helpful owners.
Disliked: View of the sports centre currently isn't great but it'll be fine when the hedge grows up to hide it. No general waste bins Other ignorant campers

Liked: The site was clean tidy and looked like it was newly done, the shower (only 1 per sex) was clean and hot with a quality multi function head, the owner was really friendly and the site is within easy walk to the town, only stayed one night but I will go back when in the area….fantastic value for the price!
