  • Quiet campsite two and a half miles from the Pembrokeshire Coast Path
  • Newport beach, Poppit Sands and Mynydd Carningli within 20 mins' drive
  • Peaceful spot 10 minutes’ drive from the nearest pub
If you’re a camper who just can’t resist a big open field, especially one that’s within a few miles of a beach and coastal path, you’re all set at Rhosgerdd Camping. Set in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, these pitches are 10 minutes’ drive from Ceibwr Beach and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Newport Beach, a huge sandy beach, is 15 minutes’ drive away, and Poppit Sands beach is 20 minutes’ drive away. There are very few disturbances in the field, and few frills – with facilities limited to just a portable toilet and access to drinking water. It’s very peaceful too; this remote spot is 10 minutes’ drive away from the nearest pub-restaurant in Nevern and 15 minutes’ drive away from the supermarkets and pubs in St Dogmaels. That’s always handy to know if you ever fancy tucking into delicious Pembrokeshire food (and note that Fishguard, 25 minutes' drive away, has a yearly street food festival too). There are plenty of country or coastal footpaths within a few miles of the site, and Mynydd Carningli is the nearest mountain (20 minutes’ drive away). A sunflower farm is 15 minutes’ walk away from the site. Plus, boat trips to go dolphin spotting and wildlife watching leave from St Dogmaels. There are also art galleries, studios, museums and mills within 15 minutes’ drive of the site.
