  • Eco-conscious premium campsite with just 15 pitches
  • 10 minute drive from stunning Welsh beaches
  • Acres of space, campfires, fab facilities and pizza nights each week.
A truly unique, premium camping experience, just minutes from the outstanding Pembrokeshire coast. This might just be the most low density camping in Wales - we can't think of another campsite that offers this much space and freedom for a camping holiday - but with all the facilities to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. Oh, and with campfires and pizza night! We offer three different categories of camping pitch: The Family Meadow A peaceful setting, like-minded folk and crackling campfires for perfect evenings under the stars! This is how it all started - a nice level sheltered field and a handful of tents. Our lovely family camping meadow has a total of just seven spacious pitches dotted around the tree and hedge-lined perimeter. Each camping pitch has a campfire place, campfire grill and picnic bench. The showers, facilities, recycling and firewood (for which there is a small charge) are all close by. The meadow is great for sociable camping, with no shortage of space for even the largest tents. If you have a gazebo, pup tent or any other camping or tent accessory, don't worry because there is plenty of room and we don't charge extra! The meadow is ideal for families with young children, who quickly find new friends and go off exploring. It is also ideal for small gatherings of two or three families and/or friends who can choose to cluster their tents together around a campfire. Apart from arrival and departure days, the camping meadow is a 'car free zone'. This makes it even more peaceful and completely safe for young children who like to charge around. Cars are parked close by in the large stable yard. This means there are no 'comings and goings' and children can play safely and explore, without parents worrying. Secluded Camping A completely private space for when you want to be right away from it all. There are now seven secluded camping pitches, dotted around the farm in private, hidden away locations. Two of the secluded pitches are ideal for small gatherings of two or three families who want to camp together in their own private space. These are also perfect if you have a campervan or caravan. Even though you are right out there on your own, you're only a short distance from the showers, facilities and drinking water taps. As with the family camping meadow, each secluded camping pitch has its own picnic table, campfire place and barbecue grill. Once you are out there you’ll be amongst the sights and sounds of nature. Late at night listen out for foxes, badgers and owls going about their nocturnal routines. In the daytime, watch aerial displays from swallows and buzzards. Explore the farm from the mown tracks, footpaths and hidey-holes that criss-cross the land. And there’s a shallow stream that bounds our land to go splashing along. Just like the meadow camping pitches, each of the secluded pitches comes with a campfire place, one of our adjustable BBQ grills that fits over the campfire, a picnic bench and tons of space for even the largest of tents. You can take you car down to the pitch but if it’s been particularly wet (as if), we may ask you to leave you car up in the stable yard. Premium Secluded Pitches This is camping with a twist - our three Premium Secluded pitches (the Dingley Dell, Foxgloves and Willowbank) offer secluded privacy along with the sort of facilities you’d expect from a top quality ‘glamping’ set up. Well, in fairness, it was formally home to one of our three yurts. If you seek camping with a host of extras, this is the way to go. Note, these pitches get booked up very early. Each of these pitches comes with a campfire place, one of our adjustable BBQ grills that fits over the campfire and tons of space for even the largest of tents. But you also get your own camp kitchen shelter with picnic table, work top and shelves, a compost loo (fully serviced for each booking) and best of all, your own alfresco, gas-powered hot shower. Working with nature We continue to ratchet up the environmental projects here, such as habitat creation, tree planting and renewable energy. We encourage the recycling of everything possible and have made provision for this. Whilst we have very nice, conventional facilities for showering, loos and washing up, we also have an 'off-grid' facility for the boys and the aforementioned composting loos for the yurts and a couple of the secluded pitches. And finally... In 2014 we built a wood-fired pizza oven and ‘pizza night’ is now a weekly ritual up at the farm house. There's a 2km nature trail around the farm. Children are completely safe (we are several hundred metres from the road (a quiet country lane) and can wander off, make new friends and enjoy the space and freedom. We are about a five minute drive (20min cycle) from our nearest beaches of Abereiddi to the north and Penycwm/Newgale to the south. We hope to welcome you here one day! Route directions

Directions to Ty Parke Farm Camping Travelling from the East From Haverfordwest head out on the Fishguard Road (A40) and half a mile after the Murco petrol station, take the turning to the left sign-posted to Camrose. The road narrows and winds its way down for about half a mile and then crosses a long narrow bridge. Keep on this road until you come to a T-junction. Turn right and stay on this road (the B4330) for approximately nine miles (passing through the villages of Hayscastle Cross and then Hayscastle) until you reach another T-junction. Turn right towards Croesgoch, bearing left where the road forks. After 500 yards you will come to a sharp left hand turn, follow this round and we are approximately 250 yards further along on the right where the road widens a little. There are signs in the bank and on the gate that say 'PARKE' not 'TY PARKE'. Proceed up the long, bumpy track and follow the sign for camping. Travelling from the North From Fishguard head towards St David's on the A487. After about six miles you will arrive at the bottom of Mathry. Take the left fork towards Penycwm and stay on this road until you come to a T-junction. Turn right towards Penycwm and after about a mile watch out as the road veers to the left and is again sign-posted to Penycwm. At this point take the little turning immediately to the right and at the next junction carry straight on towards Croesgoch. We are approximately 250 yards further along on the right where the road widens a little. There are signs in the bank and on the gate that say 'PARKE' not 'TY PARKE'. Proceed up the long track and follow the sign for camping. Travelling from the West If you find yourself in St David's, head towards Fishguard on the A487. When you arrive at Croesgoch (approximately five miles out), turn right at the Artramont Arms public house, where it is signposted to Haverfordwest. Stay on this road for about two miles. The road now turns sharp left, then sharp right, then sharp left again. You are now going down a slight hill with a small white cottage on the left. Go over the small bridge and up the other side. Ignore the next turning to the right for Ty Llanreithan and keep on for another 250 yards. The road is very narrow here so slow right down. Our entrance is on the left where the road begins to widen. Careful because it is easily missed. There are signs in the bank and on the gate that say 'PARKE' not 'TY PARKE'. Proceed up the long track and follow the sign for camping.

Local attractions

Ty Parke is located in the north west corner of Pembrokeshire - the part favoured by adventurers, walkers and young families. The sea surrounds us on three sides, so you are never more than a few minutes from a quiet beach, a secret cove or a tiny harbour. The site is just a 10 minute drive from two stunning beaches, Abereiddy and Traeth Llyfn. Abereiddy, home of the famous Blue Lagoon, is known for its black sands and tiny fossils hidden amongst the shores and is popular for coasteering, whilst Traeth Llyfn has sandy shores and is a lovely spot for a typical beach day. We are 15 minutes from the expansive Newgale Beach, particularly popular with surfers, kitesurfers and body boarders. There are a couple of National Trust sites nearby, including Southwood Estate (15 minutes) which is a lovely nature reserve, and St David's Head (25 minutes) which is situated on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Other nearby activities: * Whitesands Beach (20 minutes) * St Davids City Golf Club (20 minutes) * Picton Castle Gardens (30 minutes) * Blue Lagoon Water Park (35 minutes) * Celtic Sea Watersports (50 minutes)
