Old style camp site, with a relaxing set up.

Liked Very friendly atmosphere, nice little bar, spacious pitches. Access to the most amazing beach, which was almost empty of people on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon.
Disliked Nothing.

Liked Everyone at the site were really friendly. The site was busy as we visited on bank holiday weekend but there was still plenty of space for the children to ride their bikes and play games around the site. There was some bike racing organised which was enjoyed by about 15 kids pinning it around the course trying to beat their own, or friends and siblings, previous times. The bar and kitchen were a nice addition with a good selection of food and drink. We were lucky enough to be there at the same time as a previous XFactor contestant who got the karaoke up and running providing some good entertainment in the evening. Durning the day, visiting Ginst point was a highlight as passing through the security gates and past the MOD land made it feel like a real adventure. Once on the beach it felt like we had the place to ourselves as we enjoyed a swim and collected some cockles for our tea. Pendine was also nice and had some interesting caves and rock pools to explore.
Disliked Having to go home after a brilliant stay.

This was supposed to be a high point to end our trip. Didn’t happen :(

Liked Solitude
Disliked Not a single sign of site manager / owner reception was achieved via phone number on pitch up …..… The advertised services .. of evening food and drink ..did not materialise …. Toilets and showers needed updating… empty bottles and glasses left in communal areas. This was a mid August stop over and we are left feeling very unhappy from a comparatively expensive site that failed to deliver the facilities it advertised ….

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to review your 1 night stay, and finding everything unacceptable to you, the glasses were being returned from visitors that had permission from me to take there drinks back to there pitches, as well there had been a few parties that had a leaving party, but why am i explaining this to you you were obviously not liking anything. The bar would have been open on request as well as the kitchen
Family run campsite that welcomes you like one of their own.

Liked Lovely site, Sandra and family welcoming. Food and bar is very quirky, great choice of drinks and food. Adrian and Tammy's food is lovely, booked Sunday lunch and Adrian even got lamb as I don't get to have it at home.
The experience reminded me of my childhood camping bit more facilities now but my 2 boys got to have a similar experience.
Disliked None, your camping if you want luxury with spotless facilities book a hotel

Liked Very friendly and welcoming.
Nice, not over the top socialising area, well priced too. Typical bar menu which was great value for money.
Do plan on returning at some point.
Disliked Wash areas were clean, really good shower temp and pressure. They possibly need an upgrade in the near future.

Nice campsite with reasonable rates.

Liked Quiet and small site. Family run and friendly. Facilities were good. Good pricing on beer and food in the little food hut and bar.
Disliked No big mirror in the ladies shower room. Not in a walking distance to the beach but we knew that.
