Meadow Field primitive grass and earth tent campsite
Liked: Absolutely wonderful campsite! Loads of space and we camped wherever. It was so nice to have a fire as we watched the sun set. As the toilet was a few fields over, they brought a compost toilet onto our field. So thoughtful. We stayed one night and we would happily go back again. Great value for money

The Rise 1 primitive grass and earth tent campsite (premium)
Liked: We love coming to the eco camping site, it’s our favourite spot in the beacons. The hosts are really lovely and helpful, the facilities are great and the view is even better! Each of the pitches allow for ample space and privacy and having an individual fire pit is great to use for cooking up dinners and sitting around while you watch the sunset. Couldn’t recommend this site more!

The Ledge primitive grass and gravel tent or campervan campsite (premium)
Liked: This is a really unspoilt campsite. Huge areas of grass with small hardstanding for car or camper van. Host extremely accommodating and took his time to help us plan some walking. Weather curtailed our adventures so will have to come back again. Shower and toilet in block near the house. Basic but clean and functional. We felt like our site was extremely private and the view across the field to the beautiful oak tree asn small stream, little church with mountains beyond was blissful. Good base for black mountain and lovely country park just down the road- also easy to reach on foot.
Disliked: Not a dislike as such but would have been good to have area to wash dishes- did ours in the river.

From the manager: Oops sorry if forgot to tell you but cold water wash sink just up from The Ledge by The View pitch
