Liked: Views! Easy check in Clean and tidy
Disliked: Showers were a bit unpredictable and took a long time to warm up

From the manager: Thanks for taking the time to write a review. Sorry you had to wait a whole 7 seconds for the showers to pump out boiling hot water.. apologies I will try and get them warm up quicker.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: A wonderfully maintained site in glorious scenery. The owners are justly proud of this site and work hard to make sure every guest has a great experience. Quiet rules are enforced so that campers can hear the natural sounds of wildlife and wind. Every pitch has a fire pit, and there’s a shower block with hot water and a kitchen. Recycling bins are provided. The camp is a brief walk to the village, which has a well provisioned shop, a pub (with first rate pub fare), and friendly residents.
Disliked: This has nothing to do with Camp Stesion. The only thing I didn’t like was a narrow, steep walled lane on the way into town. It’s very tight for a walker facing occasional cars, but the villagers will kindly slow down, and if you ditch the earbuds you’ll hear them coming.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: The location is amazing. Views are stunning. The place is very well kept. Camping pitches are large with fire pits and a picnic table. Toilets and showers are clean and stocked well. The communal kitchen is fantastic with everything you need to cook a meal if needed. Host was very friendly and helpful lots of information about shops etc. Next time I come I will be bringing family with me. Best campsite I've been to.
Disliked: The weather haha we were a bottle unlucky.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: The site is in a great location, centrally places for both north and south Snowdonia with plenty of activities nearby. The toilet and shower facilities were great and the kitchen was very welcome, offering utensils, pots and pans and 2 had hobs. The pitches were a decent size with beautiful views across to surrounding mountains. The owners were also very helpful with good communication.

Liked: The pitches were well spaced giving everyone own privacy and it was a cosy site. The kitchen was nice and facilities included 2 showers and 2 gender neutral toilets which were cleaned on a daily basis. The host was very lovely and accommodating. Each pitch had its own fire pit and benches adding to the charm. The nearby village had a friendly vibe and it was a pleasure to go to the local pub. Highly recommended for a nice getaway close to Eryri (snowdonia)
Disliked: Kitchen could potentially have a sheltered extension for a dining area for the campers

Bee camping pod (no electricity)
Liked: The views were amazing with good facilities. The bee pod was very homely, with a comfy bed and cute decor.
Disliked: The gas stove did not appear to be working on our first night, but was fixed the following day. Other than that everything was great!

Cwt Cariad shepherd's hut
Liked: very cosy and was able to park the motorbike right outside the hut for extra safety. (Also a security camera over the parking area) The view is lovely and watching the sunset and sunrise was pretty special. The separate block of showers had good pressure and hot water just wished the hut had it's own private shower within the toilet shed . A little side note for any bikers looking at this , please be aware the loose slate and slight steep decline into the site. Bit dodgy on a motorbike but our StreetGlide managed it up and down.. would definitely stay again.
Disliked: The other 2 little huts over look the outside area of this hut so was overlooked by the other campers while sat outside. No hot water in the huts kitchen shed. Just boiled the kettle to wash up.

From the manager: Thank you for leaving a positive review, we always take onboard every comment if they are fair and reasonable and will be thinking of installing a boiler to wash the dishes with hot water instead of boiling a kettle. Just to clear things up with the two little huts (pods), they are approx 25 meters away from the shepherds hut and to the left, the hut is in no way overlooked by the other two pods as all three are facing the same views and in a straight line. I think you have used a word which is incorrect. (overlooked means looking from behind and down). The hut is in a private are of the Camp and has its own little corner. Thanks Again
