Liked: Everything: The location was perfect, not too far away from Wrexham and easy to access. The cafe breakfast was something special everything was cooked exceptionally well and the quality is some of the best I've had. The owner was very friendly and patient with us and helped teach us how to fish. The fishing ponds felt beginner friendly and with the ability to rent nets and rods it was ideal for the two of us.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Beautiful location and peaceful site. Great to have a picnic table next to the van that we could sit out on and have our meals.
Disliked: No one around to check us in when we arrived, and no means of contacting anyone. It felt like they weren't expecting us. Washing up facilities were unusual in that there was no drainage per se, just taps on a bench. Lovely showers, in that they were rainfall design, but no space in the cubicles to do much afterwards, so I just got dried and dressed out in the open area.

Liked: Facilities, pitches, cafe, location are all great. There is a small family fishing area which is free to use. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: This isn’t really a dislike, more of a heads up. The pitches are amongst the fishing lakes with no barriers between. So it you have young kids (we have a toddler) you need to have eyes on all the time. Having said that, we really enjoyed the proximity to the lakes and the kids enjoyed watching people fishing and the wildlife.
