Liked: Home away from home. After recently losing my partner it was lovely to get away. The couple that owned the camp made me feel like family from the minute I arrived. Nothing was to much trouble. They have gone out their way to make people feel comfortable. Charging points for phones, spare tent pegs and poles, fire pits. They have a lovely site including a bat, clean toilet and shower facilities and places to wash up and clean everything. The tent sites are well maintained and the place just feels so relaxing.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Hosts are fantastic and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. My son particularly enjoyed the "tractor" (lawnmower) and feeding the pigs, but not the sheep. The view from our pitch was amazing and there is plenty of space between pitches. Overall I can't fault a single thing at this campsite and we will be returning again in a few weeks. Thanks again Lee!

Liked: The size of the field, big enough but not a trek to facilities Lovely views Toilets/showers as expected Charging point Small gas canisters foc if needed Bar/shop if desired Conscientious host Large pitch to share with friend Mon-Wed stay was very peaceful
Disliked: Ground too wet to pull up to the pitch, unloading and packing up took longer with walks in between but this was not the site’s fault Not having our car next to us as we use it for storage/security and would make start/end a lot easier, personally Free-roaming chickens frightened my 4yo to the point of crying a couple of times They are exceptionally cheeky and ended up in our porch looking for scraps Everything to do/places to eat were all a 20min drive away but again; this is personal

From the manager: It is unfortunate that just before your stay we had days of torrential rain so you were unable to drive to your pitch to load/unload.
