Liked: ### Review: Fantastic Stay at a Beacon Beacons Campsite I recently spent a weekend at a campsite in the stunning Beacon Beacons, and it exceeded all my expectations. The facilities were top-notch, making the experience both comfortable and enjoyable. **Facilities:** The campsite was well-equipped with clean and modern amenities. The showers and restrooms were impeccably maintained, providing hot water and ample space. **Pub on Site:** One of the highlights of this campsite is the on-site pub. The atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. The beer garden is a gem, offering scenic views and plenty of seating. The menu featured a delicious selection of burgers and pizza, both of which were cooked to perfection and reasonably priced. **Location:** Nestled in the heart of the Beacon Beacons, the campsite is ideally located for hiking and outdoor activities. The staff was knowledgeable and provided excellent recommendations for trails and local attractions. **Overall Experience:** This campsite provides an excellent balance of comfort and nature. The great facilities, coupled with the convenience of an on-site pub serving fantastic food, made for an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking to explore the Beacon Beacons while enjoying quality amenities.

Liked: Great location, well maintained, lovely shower and toilet block. Janine, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. The site is small and so does not have someone in reception all the time through the day but Janine is on her mobile and is quick to respond if needed. The campsite is just behind a great country pub which has a lovely beer garden, log fire, friendly staff and customers. We didn't try the food but it looked really good. It is adults only.
Disliked: The only issue was the location of the chemical toilet disposal. It would be better if it was more accessible as it is right at the end of the toilet block, past the pot wash room, so there is no option to park right next to it and we had to carry the heavy cassette round to it. A small niggle for me was that the showers are the push button type which go off every minute, annoying when trying to wash hair.

Liked: There are so many things that we liked about Brecon Beacons Touring park. The first thing has to be the welcome, It was just lovely. The check-in was easy, and we found out almost immediately, that we were in for a treat, as there was a carnival taking place, which was starting from the entrance of the park in an hour's time. The community feel was just fantastic, with everyone saying hello, with a smile. This was such a breath of fresh air, and a great good feel factor. We were impressed with the layout of the park and the kitchen, shower/toilet facilities, were well thought out, and were immaculately clean. The park itself is adjourned to a beautiful country pub, that sells a variety of ales and serves al larcarte meals, as well as light bites. They are in fact in the finals for award winning eatery. The pub has plenty of parking, and a massive seating area. They also have a five rating food hut parked, just in-between the two areas, serving gourmet burgers. A bit pricey, but the quality of meat comes from locally sourced businesses, justifies this. They also cater for vegans and vegetarians, which was so important, to a non meater like myself. Again a breath of fresh air as we are often forgotten, especially for somewhere rural as this site. My husband on the other is a meat lover and loved the fact the burgers were homemade and the options were plenty. The pitches are spread out, and you have plenty of space from your neighbours, which is what we want when we go away, we like to just down tools from our busy week and chill. We were so lucky with the weather, and were able to enjoy the evening outside the campervan which was lovely and peaceful. We did not hear any noise during the night and slept well. In a nutshell, this site was just perfect.
Disliked: It states no hen or stag parties, yet there were a crowd of bikers, who were travelling through and although they weren't a nuisance, their unessessary bad language was unpleasant to hear. Especially, as the site had children there. I feel they should either respect for others or be asked to leave if they don't.
