What customers say
A relaxed, friendly campsite with great views and a quiet vibe, close to town. Praised for hot showers (though cold water was occasionally reported, management can help), fire pits, and flexible, spacious pitches. Basic but adequate facilities; a new utility block is being built.

Amazing and quiet place for families and astro nerds
Primitive cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Pitches were clean and well spaced. Grass was cut and even which helped in setting out camp up. Toilets and showers were spot on and always clean (even men toilets were clean and smelled nicely which is a shocker to me!).
Shops nearby and a lovely Wash Pool, Irfon (8 minutes drive) which was clean and really refreshing.
The sky, oh the sky... it was really dark, you could just about to see the milky way with your own eyes! Perfect spot for Astrophotography and general telescope enthusiasts!
Overall, I 100% recommend this site, the owners were really kind :)
Thank you, we will be back when UK summer graces us with nice weather again!

Excellent site with great facilities.
Primitive cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Just turn up and pitch where needed if there is no-one in the house. Shower and toilet block were clean and showers were hot. Benches were provided as well as areas for fires. Close to town but in a dark sky area.
Disliked Very slight slope. Limited ability to do washing up if in a large group.

Liked The unfussy ease of it. Park up where you want. Tables and fire pits in situ .. it’s a beautiful, quiet site . The toilets and showers are always clean. If you just want to get away, this is the place. This is my third visit and there will be many more .
