What customers say
Pentwyn Dingle is a peaceful, natural campsite loved for its quiet location by a babbling brook. Guests rave about pitch choice freedom, beautiful scenery, and the super friendly, helpful owner. Perfect for a back-to-basics, wild camping vibe, with just drinking water/chemical disposal. Highly recommended for its tranquil atmosphere and great access to walks and local pubs.

Beautiful, well kept camping site
Power optional grass campsite
Liked Beautiful, well kept fields. EHU avaliable in the Lodge Paddock field. We stayed in The Dingle which was lovely and quiet. Pitched next to a brook where we were able to dip our toes😊. No toilets but there was a chemical disposal point and water available. Walking distance to local pub. Will definitely return.

Power optional grass campsite
Liked I spent a very relaxing few days in the lodge paddock -stunning views, beautifully kept field, masses of space, glorious walks and the sun came out. Having electric hook up in the field was a bonus. Martin was very friendly (and it was his wedding day!) and I highly recommend a visit.
Disliked Nothing at all

Rural views - quiet site yet near the main road to Hey on Wye .
Power optional grass campsite
Liked We were really happy with our stay at Lodge Paddock campground.
We loved the fact that it was just off the main road to Hay on Wye , yet felt like you were in the middle of nowhere.
We also loved the fact that the electric hookup was in the middle of the field for change from being just around the outside of the field.
We would definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

Had a lovely relaxing weekend at Pentwyn Dingle.
Power optional grass campsite
Liked Wonderful quiet, natural site tucked away next to a babbling brook. Well kept level ground and a lovely friendly owner. It was very hot so the shaded areas were welcome. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent site, £10 a pop!
Power optional grass campsite
Liked Beautiful remote scenery next to a chuckling river, several areas to park, the choice is yours. Martin the custodian will visit to collect the balance of booking fee via Pitchup. He even gave me a lift to the local pub, one of two about a mile away. No facilities other than fresh water and chemical disposal. If you aren't fussy about facilities or nearby entertainment this is ideal.

Power optional grass campsite
Liked Tranquil and pretty site. The scope to choose where you like is great...sound of the trees and babbling stream make it quite magical. I came to relax and switch off which it certainly provided.

Power optional grass campsite
Liked This was my 2nd time staying at Pentwyn Dingle this year. It's an idyllic spot, well away from main roads. Perfect for walking, relaxing & star gazing. The babbling brook that runs through the site is great for humans & dogs to paddle in. You can choose your own pitch & there are drinking water taps & an Elsan disposal point.
Disliked Nothing to dislike.

Fabulous little spot.
Power optional grass campsite
Liked Absolutely love this place. A little gem.
Babbling brook, birds and buttercups.
The owner was also absolutely lovely.
A very relaxing two nights. Will definitely be back.
Disliked The fairly long walk to get water if camped down by the woods but it’s a tiny factor and no big deal.

A delightful place to stay
Power optional grass campsite
Liked Peaceful spot surrounded by nature, with just the sounds of the babbling brook and songbirds. We were lucky on a midweek day in May to have it practically to ourselves and enjoyed a lovely evening walk nearby. Martin was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a magical stay.
Disliked Theres very poor phone signal and no wifi - which really adds to the charm of the place.
