  • Cosy family pod on a Powys farm 15 minutes’ drive from Machynlleth
  • Eryri National Park 15 minutes’ drive; Dyfi Osprey Project 20 minutes
  • Double and sofa beds, kitchen corner, dining table and an ensuite
If you like the sound of a cosy and luxurious glamping pod located on a secluded spot in rural Mid Wales, Cil y Coed might just be the holiday base for you. At 15 minutes’ drive from both the market town of Machynlleth and Eryri National Park, this wooden pod sits on a family farm, tucked away from the farmhouse and surrounded by fields and trees. With views over Powys countryside from private decking, the pod can sleep up to four guests (two adults and two children) on a comfy double bed and a sofa bed. Underfloor heating keeps everything cosy, no matter what’s happening outside, and there’s a well-equipped kitchen corner, dining table and utensils for four, and an ensuite bathroom. Please bring your own towels, toiletries and bedding. Keep topped up with food and other supplies from the Machynlleth convenience stores, or bypass self-catering altogether and head straight for the town’s pubs and takeaways for supper.
