From the manager: Hi, I am very sorry you did not enjoy your time on our campsite, we are a family run business and are extremely proud of it.
Our toilet block is always clean and tidy and is looked after at a minimum of twice a day, more when we are busy.
I am sorry your shower never worked and we would have been only too happy to refund you the money, and sort the shower, It does say on our web site that the showers are £1.
The waste water is a plan of action for next year, but we apologise if you had any problems with it, both Allan & Stephen were on hand and would have been only too happy to help you. The vehicles unfortunately were beyond our control, there were 2 caravans and 2 motor homes with which we had problems with this weekend and they would not leave when asked. We spoke to the 2 young men on numerous occasions to stop driving about the campsite. The same people, constantly used our laundry and the mess when they did leave was ridiculous. we have subsequently banned them from our site.
We can't apologise enough for your experience at our campsite and would love you to come back at another time with a free pitch. I can only reiterate how sorry we are.
Nice place, good location.

Liked Friendly staff. Lovely pitches and amenities.
Disliked Mostly quiet except for a couple of cars driving round the site or sitting with engines running and lights on late at night. Only one mens shower working.

Liked We really enjoyed our stay at Gallowhill. We are local to the area but felt like we were far from home which was nice. The park is secluded and private with a little area for children which was nice for our little one to run around safely. The man who works at the park was very friendly helpful and made us feel welcome immediately. The shower and toilet area was maintained great and kept clean at all times. Overall very happy with our stay and would definitely return, thank you!
