  • Dufftown glamping pods with easy access to the Malt Whisky Trail
  • Glenfiddich Distillery and The Balvenie Distillery five minutes’ drive
  • Micro-kitchens and outdoor seating with Morayshire hills views
If you’re thinking of following Speyside’s Malt Whisky Trail, then you may as well do it in style. Book into a luxury pod at Hillside Havens, on the outskirts of Dufftown – whisky capital of Scotland – in Morayshire, and you’re within 15 minutes’ drive of four famed distilleries… in fact you can abandon the car and walk to Glenfiddich Distillery in around 35 minutes to get stuck into some serious tasting. Back on site, the pods all have a fully equipped micro-kitchen, ensuite shower room and underfloor heating for year-round comfort. Each has a double bed and sofa bed (extra charge for linen for the latter) and outdoor seating on decking with a firepit and views to the Morayshire hills. Not bothered by the chance to sample fine single malt whisky? Simply pop next door for a round of golf at Dufftown Golf Club (five minutes’ walk), or slog up Ben Rinnes (half an hour’s drive) for spectacular views over Speyside. Dogs are welcome on site (for a small charge), so they can join in your hiking adventures too.
