Liked: Friendly, knowledgeable staff, well spaced, level , fully serviced pitch with lovely views over forest and Loch. Excellent, spotlessly clean facilities including an additional new 5 star(!) shower and toilet block and on site cafeteria with a conservatory to enjoy the outdoors indoors whatever the changeable weather !!! We enjoyed the scenic forest walk from the site to Tarbert village which was an added bonus!!! A really super peaceful site stay in such a scenic setting - definately one we’ll be going back to!

Disliked: A little far away from the town without driving there is a walk which we did, was not clearly marked and we got a little lost up on the logging trail

Liked: We don’t normally go to “parks” but prefer to stay at small 5 van sites, however due to the time of year, there were few other caravans around so it was lovely and peaceful. Friendly people managing reception and gave us plenty of information. Laundry on site was very appreciative and reasonable charges (both tokens or cash). Cafe on site but we didn’t use however seemed popular as quite a few cars were always outside. Plenty of walks from the site The walk to Tarbert seemed perpetually uphill and we gave up half way 😕. The pitch was flat with 16amp electric, tap and drain.
Disliked: Very little to dislike. Lots of glamping pods around the site but no issues for us as most were vacant. The only slight criticism was the grass between each pitch was quite weedy, with little grass, but again no real issues for us.

Liked: This well cared for site is just a few minutes drive from the picturesque harbour of Tarbert. The hardstanding pitches are level and have EHU, potable water and grey water disposal on each pitch. The shower block is heated and was kept spotless throughout my visit. The walk from the site along the forest road to Tarbert is highly recommended but the sign post on the site states 3km which is inaccurate, it's almost 4 miles. You would need a map or an app to ensure you take the left turn off the forest road down to Tarbert via the castle remains. Whilst I was there (March) the on-site cafe was open Weds to Sun 9am to 3pm and you couldn't fault the service or quality. The manager was very accommodating and afforded me flexibility with my stay whilst I visited friends.
